I did, yeah. I went to Trabzon for his first home game, first start for Trabzon Sport and rounded the corner on the stadium. There was a chap there with a camel to welcome Salah in the most appropriate, not culturally insensitive way.

Natalie, we saw a lot of you during the World Cup. Never enough, I feel. But what have you been up to since?

**Natalie Gedra** (1:37)
Got a lot. Last weekend, I was at Sutherland for Sutherland Fulham. The week before, I was at Man City, did Carabao Cup, did championship.

**James Richardson** (1:46)
You got strong thoughts on Fulham in particular, haven't you?

**Natalie Gedra** (1:48)
Oh, yeah.

**James Richardson** (1:49)
We'll get into those because we're going to have a look through the match, say, three fixtures, of course. Before we do that, though, how about we just catch up a little bit on how the transfer market ended on Tuesday night. So it was, by popular consent, the craziest deadline day ever.
There was the huge fee for Enzo Fernandez. There was that dramatic plot twist with Fuller and Balagan. There was rival private jets dueling over in European airspace.

Well, suddenly, on the tarmac, on the tarmac. Ready to go and one went.

**Natalie Gedra** (2:21)
But they were ready for a duck fight.

**Julien Laurens** (2:22)
One went, the other stayed. That's the thing.

**James Richardson** (2:24)
Crazy. This was for Malik Fofana of Lyon.
Let's begin, though, with Enzo Fernandez, because, Nick, you wrote a piece about this. So upset were you.

**Nick Miller** (2:35)
We live it.

**James Richardson** (2:37)
We absolutely live it.

**Nick Miller** (2:37)
It just seems like everyone knew that this was going to happen from like, the 3rd of April, you mentioned. Pretty much. Yeah. Which is when he, Fernandez was suspended by Chelsea for saying off-color things about potentially going to Real Madrid. Then from pretty much when Roger left Man City, it seemed inevitable that he was going to go there. It was just all this negotiating and posturing and various other things that meant that it only happened at the last minute, which kind of scuppered various things for other people.

**James Richardson** (3:07)
Well, indeed, and for themselves. Because Chelsea, having known since the 3rd of April, they needed to replace him, ended up doing the deal after the transfer market had closed and couldn't get a replacement as a result. Interesting.

**Nick Miller** (3:20)
Yeah. The whole Lameen Kamara thing tied up with Balagan and it was all very complicated, which to a point was not, it was out of Chelsea's control, but if they hadn't have left it to that late, then you know.

**Julien Laurens** (3:30)
You had that deadline, didn't they? Of the Friday 10 days before saying like, if you don't offer 120 by now, it's over, it's finished. And we all knew this was never going to happen.

**James Richardson** (3:39)
I mean, that's obviously not a deadline.
That's going to help them next time, they say. Look at the deadline. Honest.
