All right, folks. It's time to talk about the tight end room. Who are going to be the standouts this season for Auburn?
Welcome on in. All aboard the Auburn Express. You are here inside the Auburn Express TV powered by The War Rapport. You got Ike Jones talking a little tight end. We are continuing the progression through each of the different position groups on Auburn Football's 2026 roster. Today we're talking about the tight end room. Come on in here. Let's have this conversation. As always, I'm going to go through the roster in terms of the most snaps for 2026 and go on down. And we'll start with the tight ends. Larry Scott's room. Larry Scott, new coach over at Auburn this season. He's got a ton of experience, of course, doing his thing. But he's going to be the tight ends coach this year for Auburn. And he's got a very talented room that is going to have to play a big part in this offense. When you're running an 11 personnel offense, that means that a tight end is going to be on the field for every snap pretty much. They're not going to take the tight end off the field. So that tight end needs to be versatile and they need to be very involved in the blocking scheme. So they're an additional lineman out there, of course, and a lot of what they want to do in the run fits. They're going to be doing a lot of, you know, wham blocks coming back across and when they're doing some split flow action, a lot of the screen action is going to involve the tight end. So they need to be able to be versatile in their ability to get out and across and block and in motion. But they also need to be pass catching targets. So this group is versatile and has the ability to do those things. But let's go in and talk about the folks that are there in Larry Scott's tight end room for 2026 I will start, as we did in the last one, with the folks who have experience playing.
