Hey, what's up? Week two is almost in the books and Brian Drake and I are back with another edition of the Fantasy Points Podcast, breaking down all of Sunday's action. The Panthers looking good here with Bryce Young and their receivers. The Patriots not looking very good, nor are the Green Bay Packers or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But Tyler Shuck and the Saints are all that.
All the insight and analysis from week two on the Fantasy Points Podcast. Thanks for subscribing, throw us a bone and give us a good review and you're welcome.

All across the fantasy universe, week two is in the books and someone turned the injury switch back on. Welcome in to the Fantasy Points Podcast, Brian Drake alongside the guru, John Hansen, publisher of fantasypoints.com. And John, week two was weird and wild. The scoring wasn't exactly what we thought it would be from week one, as we see the running back position. Only three players, pending Sunday and Monday night of football, scored over 20 fantasy points, and the injuries definitely are starting to pile up, as we saw Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels and the quarterback position go down. How was week two for you, my friend?
John Hansen (2:54)
Oh, well, as we were just talking, I'm like, looking back, I'm like, man, it really wasn't a good week.
And then I'm like, well, I don't know, it wasn't that bad. It was just really not a good week of scoring. So there were some bad weather games in there, unfortunately, that I guess I didn't account for enough. It wasn't an easy call. This time of the year, stuff is in and out quickly, hard to predict.
A couple of those bad weather games in the Northeast weren't supposed to be somewhat intermittent and it kind of didn't think, didn't feel like they were. But yeah, what are you going to do? You know, it's only week two as well. I thought, by the way, it just seemed like old lines across the league are really bad right now. You know, I'm like watching Tampa and like every drop back Baker is like under siege. And that's supposedly one of the better old lines with cohesiveness in the league. So, you know, kind of work in progress here in week two, unless you're the Saints, they just keep on rolling, baby.
Brian Drake (4:01)
The Saints, oh boy, we'll get to them. Let's start things off with the big injury in Chicago. The Bears lose nine three to your Vikings. And I believe that is seven straight wins for the Vikings against the Bears. But the lead here is Caleb Williams goes down non-contact hamstring injury, John.
Imaging set for Monday. We're not sure how severe this is or how long he could be out. They do have a big week three matchup against Philadelphia. I find it highly doubtful that he plays in that game, so we'll be welcoming in Tyson Bajent. So without Caleb Williams, now we're talking about an offense that maybe is more dependent on the run with Swift and Monungai. But John, if you drafted Luther Burden or Colston Loveland, I mean, you're screaming into the abyss right now. Colston Loveland has 1.3 points through two weeks.
