Hey, what's going on, everybody? Welcome to The Daily AI Show. Today is September 11th, 2026, and we are live. It's 10 a.m. on the East Coast, 7 on the West. With me today are Beth, Andy, and I'm Brian. It's Friday, however you want to look at it. This has been a four-day work week, but I swear it feels like eight.

I am just as ready for Friday as if I worked seven days in a row, I think.

Andy (0:25)

Does that mean that AI has doubled your productivity?

Brian (0:28)

Well, you know what? I'm glad you asked, Andy. I will do it before the news and what we get it. We have some stories to talk to you, but I do have a show in tell today because I have been working on not Project Bruno. That would be helpful to get that out the door. But no, I decided absolutely let's start something brand new.

But it's something my wife is working on. I have mentioned on the show is like this thing my wife is working on and I'm in. So I have something to demo today and share that has been the source of a lot of frustration, anxiety, anger, grief, name many of the emotions that you go through with building with AI. But as I said to Amanda last night, as I was still bitching and moaning about where exactly it was, and I turned to her as I was walking down the hallway of the house to come show her what I'll show you guys today, because it was finally the place where I wanted to show her. Anyway, I stopped and turned around and said, I do realize that none of this was possible before AI, and we couldn't have even had what we have now, and it is pretty freaking amazing. She's like, there you go. That's like, I do realize that this is magic. It's magic what I've done, but it also you get so used to like, I should be able to do this, I should be that. So Amanda laughed at me because I said for this particular resource I was building, I turned to her the other night like earlier in the week, and I said, I don't feel like I'm asking for much. I'm just asking for the best resource of this particular topic that's ever been created.

And she said, well, I'm glad you have your, your eyes set at the right level, you know? And I was like, I feel like with AI, this should be a form of own conclusion that I could do this. So anyway, I will get into that a little bit later.

Beth (2:06)

It's only magic if it works, right?

Brian (2:08)

Right? Like, yeah, God bless. It really is.

Anyway, I will share all that. I'll share everything up to the moment, up to the, to the, to where I am with it or whatever. And I'll even show you where some things have to be changing. Specifically, the reason I want to share is not just to be like, hey, here's something I'm working on. It's really to even show what I think the true secret power is of HTML pages. And so that's what I really want to demo is like, forget PDFs, forget static resources. I think people need to be thinking and going more in on HTML, because it could not be easier to stand up, net new, throw away HTMLs as part of your process, either it be work or life or whatever. It's so easy and they're dynamic and they're fun to move through. Hopefully, this is fun to move through. And so I just think it's something that I want more people to go explore. So that's really my sort of reason for wanting to share this. But enough of that, because I wasn't here yesterday. Y'all were. So thanks for hanging out, holding out on the fort.

And I know there was new stuff coming out. I don't think it came out yesterday. The Anthropic report, is that new for the last 24?

Andy (3:17)

Yeah.

Brian (3:19)

Making some big claims against who's been eating their oatmeal, who's stealing their oatmeal. So who wants to maybe jump into that story? Because it was pretty impressive.

Andy (3:31)

I'll hit it quickly.

They published basically eight months of misuse by various companies of Claude. So they analyzed eight months of Claude exchanges, and they came up with a 150 plus page threat intelligence report that walks you through all of this misuse that has been happening since January basically. And so in 2026 that we're talking about this happening. So for example, an operation in Yemen used Claude code to build guidance software for a rocket. And then they built the rocket, the test failed and then they came back to Claude to get advice on how to fix it.
