This is the DNVR Broncos Podcast live from the Xfinity Studio. We've got a lot to talk about today.
Ryan is back, and we talked about the schedule a bit yesterday.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:13)
Back, are we?

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:14)
But now we're finally talking about the most important part of the schedule, which is which games to go to.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:20)
Yes. This will be fun because a lot of people reach out to us.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:25)
Yes.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:26)
For advice about where they should go. So I think we'll have this episode to direct people to.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:32)
For forever.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:33)
And then also, I think maybe we create like an infographic out of our decisions that we make here.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:41)
And then we tour all of our places because that would also be very fun because we're picking good places.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:47)
That is true.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:47)
Yeah.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:49)
We execute the travel guide.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:50)
Right. We execute the travel guide.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:52)
And create our own travel guide.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:53)
Right.
Oh, we could have each made our own travel guides.
And then we see whose travel guide is better.

**Henry Chisholm** (1:00)
That would be a good way to get work to pay for us to eat.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (1:02)
That really would.
Yeah. So I want to start here. When you're looking at which games you want to go to, how first, what time of year do you want to go to a game?

**Henry Chisholm** (1:13)
Oh, great question.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (1:14)
Because it's very tough. There are pros and cons.

**Henry Chisholm** (1:16)
Yes. I want mid fall.
Just before it starts to get really cold, but past the time where you might be really hot.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (1:29)
Right.
Right. See, I like the late season games. And I know like you're gambling. Like my parents went to that AFC Championship game. Yeah, they were very cold. And that's a thing that can happen when you pick, for example, like the Bills on Christmas. Oh no. And see, that's a thing.

**Henry Chisholm** (1:50)
But that's the Montana in them.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (1:52)
Right. But also like you prepare for it. And it's kind of fun. Like I miss, again, being from Montana, you wake up, you know that Montana is a football game. We live however many blocks away from campus. You have to like bundle up and, you know, set yourself up, put yourself in a position to stay nice and warm, pregame, whatever that means to you. And then just walk over there all bundled up in the cold, like it's an adventure. And then you're out there and like the crowd is always at its craziest in those cold weather games. Like there's just another level.
But the big thing is like those late season games are the important games, which wasn't always the case for the Broncos. There was a stretch there where I would have said, yep, you just go at the beginning when the games matter.
Despite the weather, I still say end of the year is the time. Like those games are just so, so, so big. And you know what the stakes are. So few casual fans, I think it's worth it. You just brave the weather and hopefully enjoy it.

**Henry Chisholm** (2:52)
Okay, well, let's take a gander at the schedule here. Yeah, because we're going to rank these one through eight.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:59)
Yeah, I think that's a good starting point. We're going to start.

**Henry Chisholm** (3:01)
Or do they have nine home games?

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (3:02)
They have eight, unfortunately. Yep.

**Henry Chisholm** (3:06)
Man, we just got all the bad schedule breaks.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (3:08)
We sure did.
There we go. So home games, you've got September 20th against the Jags. You've got September 27th against the Rams. You've got October 15th against the Seahawks. November 1st against the Chiefs. November 22nd against the Raiders. December 6th against the Dolphins.
December 25th against the Broncos and January 10th against the Chargers.

**Henry Chisholm** (3:41)
Okay.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (3:42)
So there's a lot going on there.

**Henry Chisholm** (3:44)
I've got a couple of early thoughts.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (3:45)
Yep.

**Henry Chisholm** (3:46)
One, to me, September 27th, Sunday Night Football, Broncos Rams is probably the perfect game.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (3:58)
There's a lot working for it.

**Henry Chisholm** (3:59)
Yes.
I always prefer primetime games. Yep. But the later in the season, they get the colder it means it is once it's at night. And also, you're avoiding the heat. If it's really hot on September 27th, it's not going to matter. It cools down a lot, especially in that time of the year, once the sun goes down. So that's like either outside t-shirt weather or outside hoodie weather. Perfect for a game. That pops off the page to me. What also pops off the page to me is the Seattle Thursday Night Football Game.
