Live from London, it's The Totally Football Show.

Today, no international break. Not now, as a head of extended Nations League hiatus. Premier League teasingly busts out most dramatic round yet. Seagulls put three goals past Arsenal. Bees put Chelsea on their knees. Coventry get first win, while defeat to Villa leaves Deserby on track to match 07-08 Derby. We'll talk all of that and more in this Totally Football Show. Yes, indeed. Thank you so much for joining us on The Totally Football Show, Sunday the 20th of September, as we come together in the studio on a Sunday night with Daniel Storey here in the flesh.

Daniel Storey (0:48)

Yes.

James Richardson (0:48)

Fresh back from Fulham, Fulham against Man United.

Daniel Storey (0:52)

Yes, indeed. Fought through Putney Bridge station to be here.

James Richardson (0:55)

Tick.

Daniel Storey (0:56)

Yeah.

James Richardson (0:56)

Excellent. All right. Matt Davies-Adams is here. What route did you employ?

Matt Davies-Adams (1:03)

I've been all over the country today, James, from Grantham to Waterloo to Working and Back again. All in the pursuit of some football that didn't leave me feeling cross like most of the football I've watched this weekend.

James Richardson (1:15)

Well, tonight you'll come with us on a journey, a journey, some football illumination, perhaps, Matt? Perhaps. Perhaps. Colin Millar is with us as well.

Colin has got a great stat for you later on. You're going to love it. Love it. Colin, how are you?

Colin Millar (1:28)

I'm very well, James. How are you?

James Richardson (1:30)

Excellent. We've also got Thomas and Charlie in the booth, and you in the audience. So thank you very much for doing that. Loads of people on the chat right now. Of course, we're live. It's a Sunday night on YouTube. Actually, cheekily, what with it being an international break and an extended one, Benji, Benji Lagnari was observing on Thursday's show that Eddie Howe is right there. So we asked your thoughts which club might get on the blower over the international break.

Martinez was first in saying, how about England calling Howe after they get battered by Spain on the 26th. Loads of other people mentioning you Spurs, is your Man United. But realistically, is there, it's surely too early, even with an extended international break. Is there a club out there that might actively be considering a change, Colin?

Colin Millar (2:22)

I mean, there might be clubs putting in contingency plans.

James Richardson (2:25)

Are you being coy because you just said somebody?

Colin Millar (2:28)

Well, there's 20 Premier League clubs, any one of them Eddie.

James Richardson (2:31)

What was the one that you just mentioned before we went live?

Colin Millar (2:33)

Well, I think the one club who maybe, and they actually haven't had a bad result, haven't had a bad week, would be Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace, here, Sage.

James Richardson (2:41)

But he's just arrived there. Why would he be on the way out?

Colin Millar (2:45)

Well, there's just been a little bit of background noise that maybe the ownership and the coaching staff haven't exactly had the synergy that they maybe would have wanted in the opening weeks. This dates back to actually before the season had begun. It's not results based.

But yeah, let's see how that pans out. I don't think there's any major issue of a club looking to change manager at this point. It's very early in the season, but let's see.

James Richardson (3:10)

You'd augur that everyone will have a bit of patience. Nobody wants to see people leaving their positions this early. Or do they, Daniel?

Daniel Storey (3:20)

Well, the away end at Craven Cottage today was pretty unhappy. Booing Kobi Minou being substituted, then doing his chants when Carrick brought him off.

James Richardson (3:30)

Right.

Daniel Storey (3:32)

And then I think from standing at Putney Bridge station talking to a few United fans, not particularly happy with Carrick's most match assessment that United were good stylistically, created loads of chances, the better team, weren't dominant all the match, but should have won. And they were like, oh, we watched a different game from where we were stood behind the goal.

James Richardson (3:50)

Yeah. And then you got your Spurs fans, Matt.

Matt Davies-Adams (3:53)

Yeah, I think I'm just looking at the Premier League table and wondering where Eddie Howe fits because I think Man United think that they're too big for Eddie Howe. He doesn't know the club for one thing, which is to be a big tick against him. And I think Eddie Howe is too sensible for Tottenham. So Danny mentioned before we went live that he's an Everton fan. David Moyes does disgruntlement like nobody else. His face is set for it permanently. I wonder if he's reaching the end of his tether.
