Auburn still found a way to have a little bit of drama during the By Week. Well, before we get into that, before we get into that, let me just send a quick shout out to everybody who is down in the Gulf Coast area that has been affected by the storms.

Our guy Dustin is down there in that area. He said that his house is safe, but there's a lot of damage in the neighborhood, neighboring houses and all of that sort of thing. Definitely want to make sure that we shout out the people who are down there dealing with that. Hopefully, the cleanup goes well. You guys get all the necessary support to get you back into some functioning sense of normalcy. We'll start there by giving that a little bit of something before we get into Auburn stuff. But Auburn stuff, a little drama, a lot of reports floundering around out there, very few of them substantively based. But what we do know is Auburn All-American linebacker, Xavier Atkins, has been placed on an indefinite suspension from the team, meaning they haven't given an exact amount of time when that suspension will be served. It is in all likelihood that that suspension will include, if not the entirety, at least a portion of the game against Georgia this weekend. More than likely will be the entirety of the game.

Yeah, not a lot of details as to the reasonings why that has occurred, but it is a thing. So just thoughts on bi-week losing one of the better defensive players in the country when you're having to go up against a team that is likely going to be the number one ranked team in the country coming up this weekend?

It seems like the type of thing that happens when you're losing, right? There was a lot of fans that felt like, oh, it's the bi-week, I can enjoy Auburn not losing, and then bam, you get hit with this news.

This is an absolute hit to an Auburn defense that is still doing the job somewhat on the scoreboard, but is allowing teams a lot of leeway between the 20s. And so when you take away a playmaker like Xavier Atkins, there's no way to frame that as a we're gonna be okay thing, not where the season is at right now.
