Want to be a dangerously powerful manifestor? Start by upgrading your subsconscious programs -- aka intentionally brainwashing yourself. When I think back to when I first started implementing these habits, it BLOWS MY MIND how much better my life is now.

Welcome back, everybody, to The Hannah Summerhill Show. Thanks for being here. So happy to have you guys here. If you're new here, welcome. If you're a Hanna-fester, welcome back. Let's lock in to manifest the most. Okay, so today's episode is about how to brainwash yourself for manifestation success. And please don't be afraid of the word brainwash. When I say brainwash, I really just mean program. But we're all always being programmed or brainwashed by the media, by culture, by our families, by society, by everything around us, by social media, of course. So this episode will hopefully help you intentionally brainwash yourself for success and get rid of some of those failure programs that you may have running in your subconscious that you might not even recognize. And if you are a manifesto or you're into personal development, you know all about the subconscious mind, but just a little refresher. The subconscious mind runs 95% of our lives, and these programs were installed under the surface, usually by the time we were seven years old. So before we're seven years old, we're basically these spongy, open subconscious minds. Like if you look at a child who's under seven, you can pretty much tell them anything, right? And they will believe it. But unfortunately, like we get programmed in all the wrong ways, and they can be things that have been explicitly said to us by our parents or a caregiver, or they can just be things that we heard on TV in the background over and over.
It could be something that we witnessed, or a scary movie that we saw when we were younger, or maybe a scary movie that we saw many times that programmed a fear program into our minds. Our subconscious stores all of our beliefs. It stores our identity. It's got all of our bodily functions on lock, on autopilot, running under the surface that we don't have to think about it. But I think as we become older, as our prefrontal cortex fully develops, and we start thinking with our conscious mind, then we can be intentional about how we've been programmed, and we can get into the software and start upgrading those programs. So how do I program or brainwash myself for manifestation success? Because I know that there are a lot of unhelpful programs running. Whether those were intentionally put there or not, or just passed down from my family, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that we have the agency and the power to reprogram ourselves for success. So one of the first things that I love to do, and this is so easy, you can do it too, is I use hypnosis and meditation, and I use it with my own voice. So for my Magic Membership for Ascension, I record meditations all the time, and I actually love listening to my own meditations, because first of all, I want to listen to them for quality control, right?
And make sure that it's a really positive experience for my students. But I also think it's really powerful to listen to yourself, your own voice recorded, telling yourself what you want to believe. So I have a hypnosis recorded on my phone, just on my voice memo app, and I also have tons of meditations on my phone. What's the difference between a hypnosis and a meditation? A hypnosis, they're kind of the same, but a hypnosis gets you into that hypnotic state. For me, it's kind of like I can be very much quiet under the surface. I listen to hypnosis sometimes where you can't even hear the words because they're so quiet, but my subconscious mind is picking up on them. With meditation, I'm usually intentionally sitting with my eyes closed, taking in the directives of the meditation. But sometimes, of course, it does lead me into a hypnotic state or trance. But that's a really powerful place to be in, because that is where we are suggestible. That's like the gateway to the subconscious mind. That's why meditation is so powerful, because once we are in that meditative, relaxed, or hypnotic state, we can start to upgrade our programs. So on my voice memo app, I recorded myself saying, in first person and in second person, the affirmations that I want to hear. And I'll just put them on in the background when I'm walking, when I'm driving. And it's things like, I love money and money loves me.
I am an amazing manifesto. So it starts like the first several minutes starts in first person. And then I switch to, if you're using your name, actually that's third person. So you can switch off between first, second or third person. So first person would be, I am so beautiful. Second person would be, you are so beautiful. Third person would be, Hannah is so beautiful. Try it for yourself and just see what resonates. And because I'm not sure which one is most powerful, I just like to use all of them and have all of my bases covered. Another way I brainwash myself is I take advantage of these subconscious windows. So our subconscious mind is more open right before we go to sleep, when we start to enter that alpha theta brainwave state, and right as we're waking up and we're coming out from delta sleep into the alpha theta state before we get into beta, which is concentration, alertness, awakeness. So when I'm in the alpha theta state, I know that that's when my subconscious mind is like super open, suggestible, and spongy. So when my eyes are closed and I'm going to bed at night, I implant all of my affirmations. I start to visualize, and I do that first thing in the morning. And I've been doing this for like 10 years straight. I read this book a while ago called The Universe Has Your Back. I think it was in 2016 by Gabby Bernstein. And this is really when I started using affirmations for the first time. And she had pages and pages of affirmations that you could use. And I thought, why not use all of them? So I literally memorized them all. And as soon as I woke up in the morning, I started saying them in my mind and out loud to myself. And it was like, that was the first thing I would think before I would say anything else, before I would think about how stressful my day was, or how much work I had to do, or that I was already running late for work. I would be like, today is going to be a great day. I am having so much fun today. The universe supports my desires today. It's like, da-da-da-da-da-da-da. And I really think that helped me get from where I was at in a lower frequency to the life that I'm living now. Like, that really was such a good building block for me to begin to brainwash myself. It was just those first couple minutes of the day, I really leveraged because they're so potent. So you want to make sure that you're implanting really positive intentions and affirmations in that period every morning, if you can. It's a great way to brainwash yourself for success.
