BOOK NEWS: Signed Pre-Orders, Wayne White Art Giveaway & Sept. 14th Live Event in Nashville

Tyler Mahan Coe (0:01)

Hello, everybody. Just wanted to take a minute to let y'all know about several very cool things going on around the book adaptation of Season 2 More info on any of the stuff I'm about to tell you can be found by going to the Cocaine & Rhinestones website, then clicking Book in the main menu. That'll take you to a link tree page with all this stuff listed there. First, the most common question I've been asked is how to get a signed copy of the book. This was not an easy problem to solve and the solution we came up with isn't perfect, but it will work for the majority of folks listening to this. When you go to that link tree, the top link that says get a signed pre-order in the USA, will take you to a form where anyone in the United States who pre-orders the book can get a signed adhesive book plate to put in their book. This will work whether you already placed your pre-order several months ago, hopefully through a local independent shop, or you place it right now, hopefully through a local independent shop. Just enter the requested information related to your order and you'll get a book plate. You can also use the form to ask for a brief personalized inscription on the book plate. Please note that this only works for pre-orders. So, you got about 2 weeks to take care of this. If you'd like more info on what a book plate is, why we have to do things this way, or what I can and can't write on your book plate regarding Chappell Rhone being better than Taylor Swift, I've made a short video that I'll also add to the link tree which explains things a bit further. Now here's the really cool part. Everyone who uses the form to get a book plate will automatically be entered for a chance to win one of four prize packages we're giving away. Each package includes several items, but the best part is hands down, a one of a kind production sample of a Wayne White chapter illustration from inside the book. I show them off a little bit in that video I just mentioned, so you should probably just go check it out if you're curious exactly what I mean. Lastly, we're having an awesome event on September 14th at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum here in Nashville. We'll start off in the Ford Theatre with about an hour of conversation between myself and Allison Maurer. She's in charge of whatever we're going to talk about, but I'd imagine it'll cover all kinds of things related to the book and podcast and so on. After that, we'll be a book signing, so another opportunity to get your copy signed, followed by all of Wayne White's original artwork on display in the Haley Gallery.

Just so you know, Wayne is selling the originals at this event, meaning this is the one and only opportunity to ever see these incredible pieces of art all together in person, perhaps even taking one home for yourself. That's September 14th. Those of you coming into town early for AmericanaFest will want to reserve your spots ASAP. Again, information on all of these things can be found by going to the Cocaine & Rhinestones website at cocaineandrhinestones.com, then clicking Book in the main menu on the website. Thank you. Have a good day.
