Bo Nix takes another step in the Denver Broncos’ final practice of the offseason

It's, you know, it's the Broncos are going to have to work out some kinks. We're going to have to work out some kinks because the new building just behind me, this is the final day that the Broncos are in their old building now, guys. Broncos are now going to start the transition over to their new building. And that's one of the reasons Sean Payton said that the Broncos cancelled their final day of mandatory minicamp because there's a lot of packing up to do, and the Broncos are ready to make that transition. Guys, from my understanding, the Broncos are going to move into the new building and tear the old building down before training camp starts. Training camp starts in less than six weeks, and there's even a chance. It's probably not going to be the hill for training camp, but there's going to be bleachers, temporary bleachers, where the old building is right now. Right now, the old building is a functioning NFL building, so they've got a lot of work to do in the next couple of weeks.

The tear down, the tear down is the easy part. Couple of sticks of dynamite or, you know, a big old bulldozer.

**Henry Chisholm** (1:46)
What's the Miley Cyrus thing?

Yeah, right.

**Zac Stevens** (1:52)
It came in like a wrecking ball and tore the building down. You say it's the easy part, Ryan, but that's the emotional part. These guys keep saying how the Broncos won three world championships here.

**Henry Chisholm** (2:03)
Yeah, also the cleanup of it. I feel like the breaking it down could be easy. The cleaning up all the garbage, the steel.
I don't even know how you go about that.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:14)
I think if you have enough money, you can just make anything disappear.

Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's anything or any one. You're not wrong. Yeah, someday I'll have that kind of money.

All right, Zach, fill us in on what happened today at a mini camp.

**Zac Stevens** (2:31)
So most important thing first, Bo Nix, guys, he was out there for a second straight day, which is really good news because you always want to see a guy how he practices the day after his first practice and not only was he out there, but he took another step in the positive direction. He was out there and he participated in seven on sevens. He did not participate in seven on sevens yesterday and they didn't do seven on sevens, but we really like to see him take that next step. And guys, he was sharp in seven on sevens. He got four pass attempts, completed three of them. And his first one was a beautiful touchdown to RJ Harvey, who made a great catch, great throw from Bo. And Sean said, boy, I'm happy that we got that one on tape. Unfortunately, we didn't get on tape, but Broncos Social got it on tape. So they are going to put that out and just replay that over and over again, and Sean's words this summer. So that one's going to be a fun one to see. That was great to see. Then he also completed a pass to Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims, Bo looks sharp again today. And we actually, shout out to our guy, Ryan Green, our cameraman did excellent work getting a very, very close and personal up close video of Bo Nix's ankle, which we found out because of Ryan Green was, is heavily taped. But that's okay because there's no, there's nothing else outside of tape on his foot right now. He's moving around just fine, jogging, running, doing everything possible, putting weight on his back foot. So he is still set to go, ready to go for training camp. So only good news on that front. The second thing that we learned is what I just told you, Sean Payton canceled the final day of mandatory mini camp. And this is significant because this is the first time that Sean Payton has done this in his tenure with the Broncos, with the Saints. He would do this all the time, but it's the first time doing it with the Broncos. And while Sean didn't fully admit it, this just shows how he feels about the team and how comfortable he is with the team. Because in the past, he said, we need all these days. A couple of years ago, the Broncos, remember before he got here, used to do the final day of mandatory mini camp, they would crack or they would cancel. And instead they would have like a field day. Yeah, field day, exactly. You should invite them.
