RK and Hank with you today. We got Yaya on the ones and twos. Henry, how are you doing?

Henry Chisholm (0:13)

I'm doing great.

Henry Chisholm (0:15)

Football is almost back. Real football is almost back. As much as we love the college football and I spent probably, shoot, I'm probably, I mean, I'm up over 25 hours of football watching so far. Yeah, because I mean the math, it just adds up so quickly. We're watching games Thursday. We're watching Friday night, Saturday from 10 AM till what? Midnight probably ended. Yeah, then Sunday there were games Monday. There were games, but I mean, it's just it's not the NFL.

Ryan Koenigsberg (0:45)

I obviously love both. Yeah, almost equally.

I probably change which one's my favorite depending on the weekend. This weekend, college football is my favorite. As you can hear, probably, I still don't fully have my voice recovered from the Buffs game on Thursday, which is problematic. I told Allie when I got home, I might be getting old, too old to care this much.

Henry Chisholm (1:07)

Oh, yeah. That's I've had that thought with jerseys where it's like, I just bought a jersey of a kid who's ten years younger than me.

Ryan Koenigsberg (1:16)

Yeah.

Henry Chisholm (1:17)

And it's like, that's a different dynamic.

Ryan Koenigsberg (1:19)

For me, it was like, I just went, I went to a football game. I notably did not play in a football.

Henry Chisholm (1:24)

Right.

Ryan Koenigsberg (1:25)

I attended a football game, came home, couldn't talk. Every part of my body hurt.

Henry Chisholm (1:29)

Right. That shouldn't happen.

Ryan Koenigsberg (1:31)

Like from yelling.

Henry Chisholm (1:34)

Yeah. No, I mean, you shouldn't be getting hurt from watching football.

Ryan Koenigsberg (1:37)

No, you really shouldn't. I had like a dead arm. I assume like one of my friends just punched me in the celebration. Oh yeah.

Henry Chisholm (1:44)

Maybe not even a friend. Maybe just a strange guy.

Ryan Koenigsberg (1:46)

Yeah.

Henry Chisholm (1:47)

But that's probably gave somebody else a dead arm.

Ryan Koenigsberg (1:49)

Probably. But I literally live for that. Like being able to go through the whole off season. And this doesn't have to be about the Buffs. It's just about football. Yeah. Go through the whole off season missing that feeling to then get it in game one, where it's just like the euphoria that comes with winning a game that you think you might lose and like how your entire worldview for the next week changes because your team won. And you don't have to sit there thinking about how they lost and everything that went wrong. You just get to think about why they won and like how everything could possibly come together.

I think it is one of the greatest feelings of all time.

Henry Chisholm (2:26)

I saw a good tweet, which is rare these days, but it was the NFL is like pizza. Good pizza is great and bad pizza is also still good.

And college football is like seafood where good seafood might be the best thing you've ever eaten, but bad seafood might be the worst thing you've ever eaten. And I think I mean that Buff's game was that was good seafood. It was like that's just unbeatable. Yeah, it's really good, like just blocked field goals everywhere. The kick return touched it like it's just incredible. You never know what's going to happen.

Ryan Koenigsberg (2:58)

And that's what college football brings is the chaos. Yes, the NFL is so perfect at times.

Henry Chisholm (3:06)

They just like stupid enough.

Ryan Koenigsberg (3:07)

Right. When you get like a like a great NFL game, it's just like, wow, this is the way the sport is meant to be played. It's being executed at the highest possible level. A great college football game is like, I literally have no idea what's going to happen on the next play.

Henry Chisholm (3:19)

Right. Why did that moron run out of bounds? The game is not over yet.

Ryan Koenigsberg (3:22)

There we go. Yeah, it was awesome. So welcome back to football season. And like I mentioned at the top, it is officially game week for the Denver Broncos. And it's officially Chiefs week. Like we're going not only straight into the season, we're going straight into hate week.

Henry Chisholm (3:39)

It's great pizza.

Ryan Koenigsberg (3:40)

This is high quality like New York pizza.

Henry Chisholm (3:45)

Yeah. It's also it's also a manning cast week, which I know like fans love because I mean, so we rarely get Broncos manning cast because Peyton goes to all the Broncos games. But since they're on the road, the door is open for a manning cast and it's week one. So I'm sure there was pressure behind the scenes.
