Broncos' first official training camp practices in the books. Let's go and let's break down everything that you need to know. Before we do, make sure to like and subscribe to this video. We're gonna be at every single Broncos practice, not just in training camp, but all season long into the playoffs. So we wanna make sure that you're rocking and rolling with us. Let's dive in and Bo Nix in the Broncos offense started training camp hot. And this is important because typically, defense starts training camp hot. At least that's the way it's been with the Broncos for about a decade, not this time. Bo Nix was sharp here today. He made sure that that wasn't the case of the defense starting off strong. Bo was all over the field getting completions from short to deep left, middle and right. It was really great to see. And Bo had the play of the day near the end of practice where he connected with Marvin Mims on a 50 yard bomb down the left sideline. And I gotta say that Riley Moss and really good coverage on that too. But it was a better throw and a better catch. So Bo looked very good. And then he finished the day with a successful period as well. It was a two minute drill at the end of the first half. There was a minute 24 left on the clock. Broncos offense had the ball at their own 20 yard line because it was just the second quarter. You don't need to touch down. They're just looking to get some points on the board. And Bo after a pass was batted down to the line of scrimmage. He had four completions to two of them, one to Marvin Mims, one to Jaylen Waddle, and one to Courtland Sutton to move the Broncos down the field in successful field goal range. So that was really impressive there. And one of the guys that was key in that end of sequence series was Jaylen Waddle. And it is clear that Jaylen Waddle is that guy. He's already a favorite of Bo's in just the first couple days of training camp. And it was clear in the very first team period of training camp today, Bo Nix not only hit Jaylen Waddle to start off it, but he got his first two completions to Jaylen Waddle. He's looking for Waddle and Waddle is all over the field. Short, long, middle of the field, right, left. He is everywhere on the field. That's exactly how the Broncos are going to use him. On Thursday, he made a nonchalant, incredible one-handed catch. And on Friday, he was making big plays as well. And his speed is felt on the field. We're talking about a field full of NFL players, and Jaylen Waddle's speed is just that different to get him open. The Broncos fans are absolutely going to love number 17 But Jaylen Waddle wasn't the only pass catcher that stood out. There were two other guys that really stood out. Evan Engram and Marvin Mims had great days today. I already mentioned that Marvin Mims' 50-yard catch that he had from Bo Nix. But he also had other catches. That was just one of many plays that he made. Marvin Mims, who had a very, very good practice, including in that two-minute drill, had two catches from Bo that were key right there. And after practice, Sean Payton had big-time praise for Marvin Mims, just saying how good of a deep threat he is. And we've seen it. I mean, when he gets opportunities, he is electric and great. Maybe Davis Webb is the key to unlocking him and making him a bigger part of this offense because if he plays like he did today, he needs to be on the field for the Broncos. And then the second guy that had a big day was Evan Engram. He caught passes from all over the field and had the second biggest play of the day. Crossing the field from the right to the left, a deep crosser. He burned past the second team defense and caught a bomb from Jared Stidham. The ball went 50 yards in the air. Evan Engram probably got another 10 or 20 on the ground for a 60 to 70 yard play. It's Stiddy hit Engram right in stride. Engram made a great catch with his fingertips. It was a fantastic play. So you had Evan Engram, Marvin Mims, and Jaylen Waddle stand out for these Broncos quarterbacks in practice today. Make sure to like and subscribe to this video. We really appreciate the support and want to make sure that you're getting the best Broncos coverage. There was a standout on defense too despite being beat on a 50 yard pass from Bo Nix to Marvin Mims. Riley Moss still had an impressive day on that play. While he was beat, he was in great coverage. Marvin Mims just made a great catch. But there were two other plays that Riley Moss ended up coming up with. And they were back to back. He was in smothering coverage on Courtland Sutton on the right sideline. Broke that pass up and we know that Courtland Sutton is great in contested catches. So Riley just made a great play there. And in the very next play, Bo is trying to go into the middle of the field to pat Ryan.
