Welcome back to the Daily Crypto Roundup. Bitcoin is holding above $81,000 after a week that was supposed to punish crypto. The Federal Reserve raised rates, the Senate blocked the Clarity Act, and Bitcoin funds suffered $746 million of midweek withdrawals. Yet Friday brought $433 million back into those funds. Oil eased, and regulators signaled that rulemaking can continue without Congress. Today, the rebound is still alive. But the money is choosing winners.

At the time of recording, Bitcoin is around $81,550, up approximately 1% over 24 hours. Ethereum is near $2,638 and up roughly 2.3%.

XRP is close to $1.44 after gaining approximately 3.6%, the strongest move in this group. BNB is around $770, Solana is near $111.80 and Hyperliquid is close to $92.80.

Cardano is around $0.23 and Chainlink is near $12.54, both up more than 3%.

The market is extending Friday's recovery rather than giving it straight back.

Does this look like a durable recovery or one sharp rebound? Kraken is the platform we use ourselves and trust for buying and trading crypto. Crypto trading involves risk of loss. The lead story is not simply that Bitcoin rose. It is why the advance survived into Saturday after several reasons to sell. The strongest new evidence is fund demand. United States spot Bitcoin exchange traded funds took in $433 million on Friday. The largest daily inflow of the week. Fidelity's funds supplied $310.7 million, while BlackRock's added $108.4 million.

That single session reversed almost all of Tuesday and Wednesday's combined $746.3 million withdrawal and left Bitcoin funds positive by $6.1 million for the full week. That does not mean institutions were universally bullish. Ethereum funds lost $140.6 million across the week, even after a $143.7 million Friday recovery. Solana funds gained $60.7 million, including $47.6 million on Friday, while Hyperliquid funds added only $3.1 million.

Across the four groups, combined weekly flows were still negative by about $70.7 million.

The useful conclusion is rotation, not indiscriminate enthusiasm. Fresh capital returned to Bitcoin at the end of the week. Solana attracted consistent demand, and Ethereum did not erase its withdrawals. If every token were rising for the same reason, those flows should look more alike. Macro pressure also became slightly less hostile. Oil fell Friday as immediate Saudi supply fears eased, reducing one source of inflation anxiety after the Federal Reserve's 25 basis point increase. Policy is not loose. The target is now 3.75% to 4%. The dollar is firm, and the 10-year Treasury yield is close to 5%. Crypto is rising despite tight money, not because it disappeared. Regulatory relief supplied another piece. The Senate defeat was damaging but increasingly expected. The Securities and Exchange Commission has since created a five-year route for qualifying tokenized stock trading, while the Commodity Futures Trading Commission continues developing rules under existing authority. Agency action is less durable than law, but one failed bill does not freeze every United States crypto project. Short covering probably amplified the speed once Bitcoin reclaimed $80,000.

Traders betting on another breakdown had to buy back positions as price moved against them. That is an inference from the move, not proof of its original cause. The verified fuel is the return of fund inflows, easing oil pressure and renewed crypto equity demand. Holders, Bitcoin funds and crypto companies benefit. Leveraged shorts lose immediately. Late buyers lose if they mistake a squeeze for permanent demand. The bullish interpretation fails if Bitcoin loses $80,500 and Friday's fund subscriptions reverse on Monday. It strengthens if price clears $81,700 and then $83,000 while exchange-traded funds remain positive. Would you trust the price move more because Bitcoin funds recovered? Or distrust it because Ethereum funds still lost $140.6 million?

The second story is the XRP Ledger's approaching batch 1.1 upgrade. 30 of 35 tracked validators now support the amendment. Above the 28 needed for its 14-day activation countdown. If that support remains above 80%, the feature is projected to activate shortly after 2:06 PM Coordinated Universal Time on September 29

Batch 1.1 can combine as many as 8 transactions so they all succeed or all fail. An asset manager could link delivery of a tokenized security to its payment. A wallet or exchange could process a customer transfer and its service fee together. RippleX engineering head Ayo Akinyele described the rule simply, They either all execute or none do.
