In another episode of I Can't Make This Stupidity Up, coming from TechCrunch, US military disabled ad tracking on troops' devices following reports of targeted attacks. That is right, ad tracking technology on mobile devices was used to target our troops in the field. Remember when we heard all the horrors about TikTok? Eli, Eli, the reason that we have to ban TikTok in the United States is because the Chinese Communist Party might be able to track, you know, Americans doing whatever it is during the day. Right? The Chinese Communist Party might change Americans' perceptions of the genocide going on in Gaza and think that it's an actual genocide. Right? That is why we have to crack down on TikTok, because TikTok is threatening the American people. And remember, I was talking about this, right? I was talking about this way back when, when Trump, during the first, his first administration, at the end of it, put an executive order through basically trying to ban TikTok. And one of the things at that period of time in the MIT review, it was talking about how for 15 cents per record, you could purchase information about active duty soldiers and their family members, and that they had purchased this information using email addresses with dot Asia suffixes, right? Literally proving that the Chinese, with no obfuscation, could literally buy records about active duty soldiers, sailors, airmen, the whole nine yards for 15 cents per record in mass. And for some reason, the Trump administration wasn't cracking down on that, but it was trying to crack down on TikTok. Because I guess selling American soldiers information so that it can be used against them is the capitalist way, simply grabbing that information because you're the government socialist. The Chinese Communist Party wants all the information for free. That's how you know that they're communist. In capitalism, you have to buy soldiers information. Anything, wait, any reason. Anyways, one of the things I've been talking about for a while now, though, is that all the third party ad tracking on so many of our devices, the information that is collected can be sold. And basically, it can be sold to anybody, right? It can be sold to Sears, I don't know if Sears doesn't exist, Walmart, Amazon, it can be sold to those companies. It can be sold to our own intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies, Border Patrol and NSA and CIA, they're purchasing equipment. And Iran, right? The IRGC can purchase information, near real time information about the movements of American citizens they can purchase. And apparently, right, what's going on here is, yeah, so there was ad tracking technology on military devices, and that was used in order to target American troops. So here's a question.

When it is proven that Google's ad tracking was used to kill American soldiers, how long should Pachai rot in jail? When we find out that Pachai's yearly bonus came from the death of American soldiers because they were far more interesting in selling every bit of data about American citizens that they could rather than being decent people, because remember, remember, it is no longer, like don't be evil. It's no longer their mantra. How many decades should he rot in jail? Anyway, the US. Department of Defense has disabled advertising tracking on troops' phones and computers as part of an effort to protect them from threats that target their locations, according to a letter shared with Senator Ron Wyden. Per a letter shared with the senior Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Wyden said the US. Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps and Special Operations Command have all disabled advertising tracking across their government-issued devices. And so what's interesting too is this is government-issued devices. So this isn't just like your own device. It's not BYOD into a war zone. No, no, this is what the government actually gave you. And it was sending information to God knows who. This includes the department's iPhones and Android devices and Windows computers managed across the Federal Military Enterprise Network, the letter said. Reuters, which first reported the news and the letters, said the military rolled out protections earlier this year. The Air Force told Wyden, and implemented its change more recently in July. The aim is to prevent adversaries, including hostile governments, from using location data derived from apps on troops' phones to target them on the battlefield or on their basis. Location data collected from phone apps is commonly shared with third-party companies and data brokers, which then sell the information on the commercial market. Wyden raised the issue earlier this year in a letter to US military leaders after finding that unnamed foreign adversaries had targeted US troops in Middle East using their commercially obtained location data. Our soldiers were literally targeted using the third-party data that was collected from their phones. When is Google going to be dragged in front of Congress to be forced to explain why they're willing to sell out our troops so that they can get a couple more ounces of blood money? When is Nadala Nadala going to get dragged in front of Congress to explain why, when the American government buys operating systems from Microsoft, that those systems are literally sending out information to our fucking adversaries. Right? Quiring Minds want to know, he warned that the personal vices of troops and contractors brought into military bases could still expose service members and facilities to attacks. And so this is what I've been talking about for a long time. We do not need a ban on TikTok. We need good rules, regulations, and laws. And we need the CEOs of these big tech companies to know that they're going to rot in jail for decades if they violate those rules or laws. Why can these companies literally profit off of putting American citizens and American soldiers in harm's way just so they can make a couple fractions of a penny? What is an American soldier's life worth? Dear Pachai, I would like to know how much money it costs to buy the life of an American soldier.
