Best of the Giants on WFAN: Is the season over?

The Carton Show with Craig Carton & Chris McMonigle

September 26, 2026

Jaxson Dart's season is done, and for Craig Carton and Chris McMonigle, that means the Giants' season is done. Tiki Barber makes it clear that he does NOT feel the same, ripping any Giants fans for quitting after two games and one bad injury.

Yeah, yeah, 255 Little Goo Goo Dolls. Lurid a little bit on a Wednesday.

Who's the new producer, by the way? I've not been introduced to him yet, Big Mac.

SPEAKER_2 (0:16)

I believe that is Peter.

SPEAKER_1 (0:18)

Peter, nice to meet you, Peter. Welcome on to the team. Nice to have you here.

SPEAKER_2 (0:21)

Thanks for having me.

SPEAKER_3 (0:22)

You're very welcome.

SPEAKER_1 (0:23)

We've had a different producer every day this week, as a matter of fact. That's right. We had Paul, then we had Ryan. No?

Ray. Ray? Damn it. I'm having trouble with that name.

SPEAKER_2 (0:37)

Who do we have on Friday?

SPEAKER_1 (0:38)

Last Friday? Yeah.

SPEAKER_2 (0:41)

Was that?

SPEAKER_1 (0:41)

I think Pete Hoffman was here on Friday.

SPEAKER_2 (0:43)

I don't think he was, no.

SPEAKER_1 (0:44)

Yeah, Friday he was here. No, was he? Pretty sure. I was here. Oh, you're back.

SPEAKER_6 (0:50)

I didn't recognize you.

SPEAKER_1 (0:51)

I forgot that John's job is more important than this one. But it's all good because now that the season is over, we get more of you here. So that worked out great for everybody. So I'm kind of happy about that. I thought it was great that you got to jaywalk in LA.

19 seconds of my life, I'll never get back. Oh, this is interesting. I can walk across the street here. Like you're a New Yorker, dude. You wait for the lights to change to cross streets?

SPEAKER_5 (1:14)

No, but I...

SPEAKER_1 (1:15)

You've been jaywalking your whole life. You're a habitual jaywalker.

SPEAKER_2 (1:19)

I am.

SPEAKER_1 (1:19)

Why were you so surprised that you could walk across the street in LA when you've walked across streets your entire life?

SPEAKER_5 (1:26)

It's legal there.

SPEAKER_2 (1:27)

That's what shocked me.

SPEAKER_6 (1:28)

It's not illegal here.

SPEAKER_7 (1:29)

You can't jaywalk.

SPEAKER_8 (1:30)

You can't cross like diagonally.

SPEAKER_1 (1:32)

Yeah, you can.

SPEAKER_9 (1:33)

Well, I mean, you do it.

SPEAKER_1 (1:34)

No one's ever gotten a ticket for that.

SPEAKER_5 (1:36)

Well, it's true. But this is like they have street signs that say, okay, you can now cross...

SPEAKER_1 (1:40)

Hammerhead, you can jaywalk in New York City. Ain't nobody gonna give you a ticket.

SPEAKER_4 (1:45)

No, you're right.

SPEAKER_2 (1:45)

But technically it's illegal.

SPEAKER_5 (1:47)

I can't believe I can walk across the street in LA.

SPEAKER_4 (1:49)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_1 (1:49)

Last time I was here, you couldn't do that.

SPEAKER_4 (1:52)

Okay, great.

SPEAKER_5 (1:53)

It was 20 years ago, yeah.

SPEAKER_1 (1:54)

Yeah, I'll be on your time.

SPEAKER_5 (1:56)

They had robots, by the way, too.

SPEAKER_1 (1:57)

Yeah, they got robot deliveries, they got the Waymo's, which are dope. I don't like the robot delivery thing so much, because I know people got to F with it. Plus, what if you got like a soda shaking all over the place?

SPEAKER_5 (2:08)

It almost ran me over.

SPEAKER_1 (2:11)

It's an autonomous delivery cube.

SPEAKER_2 (2:15)

Okay, so does it have wheels?

SPEAKER_1 (2:18)

Yeah, it's almost like tank wheels, right? So it really stays on sidewalks, and then crosses the street on a red light kind of thing. But it's weird.

SPEAKER_5 (2:27)

How fast does it go?

SPEAKER_1 (2:28)

Not a couple of miles an hour.

SPEAKER_2 (2:30)

Okay, so how long do you think it takes to get a delivery?

SPEAKER_1 (2:34)

Well, compared to some deliveries I've had here, about the same. And then you enter code on the box, it opens, you take your food out, you close it and you're good to go. It's a wave of the future. I'm not down with it, but I do like the Waymo's.

I like that. I don't know what that is either. Self-driving autonomous vehicles.

SPEAKER_2 (2:53)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_1 (2:55)

No driver in there. I told you, I want to get a fleet for me on Musk. I want a fleet. I want like 50 of them bad boys and retire. Done.

SPEAKER_2 (3:02)

That's a good idea.

SPEAKER_1 (3:03)

I appreciate that. 30 grand per car.

And I think they're Jaguars, as a matter of fact. 30 G's per car. You get 10 of them to get a loan, and now you're producing income 24-7. 24-7 passive income. In any event, the New York Giants season's over if you're just tuning in. Jaxson Dart, not through the Giants, but through the insiders of the Giants, give the information to. The New York Giants now have James Winston as their starting coordinator.

SPEAKER_2 (3:28)

Practices from 3 to 5 after 5 p.m. Coach will speak.

SPEAKER_1 (3:33)

Oh, is that confirmed?

SPEAKER_2 (3:34)

Yes.
