The Jets defeated the Browns by the score of 17 to 12 Deshaun Watson was sacked eight times. Is this a big win for the Jets or a bad loss for the Browns?

Chad Johnson (0:28)

I think it's a big win for the Jets. It's a big win for the Jets. I like what Aaron Glenn has done with that team this year. I like what Geno Smith is doing. He's trying to play consistent football. He's trying to minimize the turnovers and the mistakes that many have made that have played the quarterback position for the New York Jets. The stain that has been left in Jets fans' mouths when it comes to consistent quarterback play has been very bad for a very long time.

Geno did everything that he could.

Deshaun Watson, eh, he had an okay game today. It wasn't enough.

Shannon Sharpe (1:08)

I thought this was probably his worst game he played out.

Chad Johnson (1:10)

His worst one, yeah, his worst one.

Shannon Sharpe (1:12)

In the season, okay, Ocho. I thought it was the worst game. But I thought the inclement weather, the rain, I thought he played a big part in some of it.

Gilbert Arenas (1:19)

Big part, yeah. You know what I mean?

Shannon Sharpe (1:21)

I thought the Jets defense played an even bigger part. David Bailey had three sacks. They sacked him eight times.

Eight times. Damn. He farmed the ball three times. He got two of them back. They lost two.

It's just, when you turn the ball over, it's just hard. The offensive line wasn't very good. I didn't see very much separation between the receivers and the DBs. I mean, yeah, this was a bad, I mean, look, the Jets, I'm glad the Jets won because I want to, you know, want to see AG keep his job because they got a really short lease. Leash.

Chad Johnson (2:12)

Hey, but at New York, at New York media, ain't no joke.

Shannon Sharpe (2:15)

He ain't got much to work with, but that's not to hear no there.

I don't know, I like the underdog story of Unc and Ochocinco. The fact that Deshaun Watson came back, they were three and one, and had an opportunity to go four and one, I felt like they should have, this would have been a huge win for the Browns, bro. Yeah. But you got to take care of the ball, Joe. Oh, man.

You got to take care of they run. Somebody say sports and everything. We just said that. We mentioned CEOs.

Nate, I'll tell you what, tell me somebody that's achieved something great that didn't sacrifice, because sacrifice requires a level of selfishness. Ask any CEO, ask any great actor or actress. Forget, we're not going to mention sports. We're not going to mention a Venus and Serena or Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan or Lebron or Kobe, rest your soul, Kobe. We're not going to talk about sports. Go ask any CEO. Go ask any actress or actress. Ask any musician. Y'all saw the bio of Michael Jackson? Y'all heard the story of Prince and all these others? What about Taylor Swift? Y'all don't think she sacrificed?

Chad Johnson (3:31)

You know, I think I'm a part of us. I'm going to say I'm a regular civilian, Uncle Joe. The football players, I understand the sacrifice for those that are at the highest level. Those that are one percenters, I get it. I know what it took. Everybody has a different story. Everybody has a different path. But again, in order to reach the pinnacle of that childhood dream and playing at the highest level, it takes sacrifice. A lot of them. CEOs, musicians, or just anyone successful outside of sports, it takes sacrifice. But the people outside looking in, all they see is the finished product, not what it took to get there.

So they don't understand it. Because they're just seeing what's finished, not the journey that the people have went through to reach what they have.

So I don't think there's nothing you can say tonight that would get them to understand the sacrifice that it takes to get to the top.

Shannon Sharpe (4:26)

Like I said, even if we remove sports, sports is what we do. So we know the level of sacrifice that we did. So we can just imagine the level of sacrifice that the greatest of the greats, if we did the level of sacrifice and I was single. Imagine being married. LeBron missing recitals. He's missing practices. He's missing PTAs. Jordan missed that.
