I have to say, I am so happy to be here this morning. Yeah, I mean, because of what we saw yesterday, especially from the local teams and both quarterbacks, both offensive coordinators, really, and both offensive lines just had absolutely great nights. Here's the thing that I love about what I saw from the Giants last night. Yes, it's Jackson Dart. Yes, it's, you know, he had like 40 plays, and of those 40 plays, he averaged over seven yards per play. And that's when you take into account his pass attempts plus his running attempts. But when you watch the Giants wide receivers, and Isaiah likely included in this as he is a tight end, and he is obviously going to be a big part of this, the amount of passes that they were catching away from their body with their hands. I didn't see a lot of like, letting the ball get into their bodies. Like they were catching the ball, and I know it's a little thing, but it just jumped out off the screen to me last night, watching this. And there were a couple where, you know, like a couple got into their bodies, but I would say 95% of those completions were by those receivers and Titans and running backs were away from their body, making the catch and somebody's teaching them that. You know, somebody's over there coaching that. And then of course you have to be accurate as a quarterback. You want to make sure that you're leading your players and you know, a couple of these little dump off passes, you know, Tyrone, Tracy coming out of the backfield.

And Devon Singletary too. We're great, I mean, and that's the kind of touch that you want to see from your quarterback. So I want to start with the Giants just because, you know, nobody thought that they were going to be able to beat the Cowboys. We didn't think so either, I don't think.

But I do know that watching this and watching the 9-11 ceremonies before the game and watching the Yankees on Friday night with their 9-11 ceremony, they did an amazing job, both teams did. You could feel the energy coming through that screen. And I think Chris Collinsworth said it probably about a quarter and a half into the game, that the Dallas Cowboys weathered that initial emotional storm, and they kind of settled the game down. But what I love about what the Giants did, and this goes back to John Harbaugh, they are going to be a pain in the ass. They are going to be relentless, and they are just not going to stop, they're not going to give in. This is the competitive thing that I told you, or I felt like he was going to bring to the Giants when they signed him.

Evan Roberts (2:28)

Yeah, and they've got so many things on offense that can confuse you in so many ways to beat you when everybody's out there on the field. And the other thing that John Harbaugh was saying about being a bully, you can really see that when they were running the football last night. I mean, that was, if you were like a football slobber knocker guy, like you get your hair stand up on the back of your neck when you watch a team run the football, you saw that last night. Patrick Ricard, Cam Scadaboo, offensive line, pushing that D line of the Cowboys off the ball. I mean, I'm getting fired up just talking about it again. And that's you love to see that when you can effectively run the football and then everything else opens up. Boom, neighbors. Boom, likely. It was just it was it was a clinic for John Harbaugh's first game and Matt Nagy's first game as well.

Craig Carton (3:15)

Exactly. So the other thing that you saw last night, and Chris was talking about this last night, is you got Greg Roman up there and you got Matt Nagy. Now, Matt Nagy obviously coming from Kansas City, they have all these exotic plays because I think they try to keep Patrick Mahomes interested. I think he gets boards at time. So they come up with all these little kind of unique plays, especially red zone, especially tight red zone plays. And a little touchdown pass to Isaiah Likely was one of those plays. That's right out of the playbook of the Kansas City Chiefs. So what does that tell me as I interview myself, that tells me that Matt Nagy believes that his quarterback is smart enough, good enough, athletic enough to create plays around him where he can handle it and not overreact and not wet his pants.
