I would say this, I listened and I say listened, because he has a YouTube special, a stand-up special, R U Mad, it's super funny.
It's about an hour, maybe a couple of minutes short of an hour. But I was far away and I just pulled it up and I just listened to the whole thing in my drive. And I think more people, I think they think about sitting down and watching a stand-up special. And Ben, take this in the spirit which is intended, but you're not much to look at, you know, it's the words. That's what makes you special. And you can absorb those words even better when you're sitting alone in your car versus sitting in your living room being distracted. Yeah.

There's nothing wrong with your looks, but I'm saying, he's doing it to anyone's stand-up special, whether it's Ben or Louis CK or whoever. They're just standing there, unless it's Matt Rife. No, that's a different story. But I mean, it's just a dude standing there holding a mic. It's almost better just to listen to it.

I mean, I grew up listening to stand-up, not just watching it, I mean, because we didn't, I remember I would download stand-up specials to my iPod and listen to them on the bus going back and forth from my mom's to my dad's place and from Toronto to St. Catharines, Ontario. And I would just listen to whatever, Chris Rock Specials, Dave Chappelle, Carlin's. You could download it all and just listen to it.

And that's why, if you said, I need you to memorize this phone number, this address, if I close my eyes, I'll have a better retention of it than if I was looking around because you're burning bandwidth on shit that's happening around you. You know what I mean? So the specials, I would recommend pretty much listening to all stand-up specials.

Yeah, it's fun. I mean, people now, I mean, they listen to podcasts, or they listen to music, but people forget to kind of download a comedy thing and just listen to that. I mean, but that was serious, and all these things are things that I grew up listening to, you know, road trips with parents, and you just listen to random, random stand-ups. So I don't know. I didn't know that, but thank you for reminding me that I'm hideous, and no, but.
No, but I mean. I shaved, the problem, people were very, so I shaved, and part of it was like, you know, cause you shave, you're gonna at least get those comments that are like, you look like shit, why did you do that? I can't believe you shaved. I was like, you know, get a little bit of engagement. And then it's also nice cause then they watch it, they laugh, then they buy a ticket and they have the beard back, and I'm like, thank God, I was worried. The whole, I was worried I would have to look at that.
