It was great. We hung out by the pool, had some glizzies, watched some things blow up. It was as American as apple pie, JJ. What about you?

Nice, mine was great. Pretty similar. We went to the pool. I had this American flag-themed, red, white and blue outfit going. I had American flag swimsuit. I had this sort of button-up American flag, red, white and blue shirt going on. Then I was wearing a hat, a red, white and blue hat.
As I was at the pool, I got a couple of people commenting saying, man, I really like your hat. It was red, white and blue, but I thought about it and I realized I was wearing a Quebec Nordiques hat. I was wearing a Canadian hat on the 4th of July. I'm JJ and over the last couple of years, I've been doing everything I can to be a best ball bro. Last season, things finally fell into place. Doing good, buddy. You weren't far off. Canada Day is July 1st, and the only reason I know that is because my son was born on July 1st, and my brother lives in Ontario. So they thought it was hilarious that I had a child on Canada Day.

Canada feeling just as bad as we are about the World Cup result. I told my wife this morning, I was like, because she fell asleep, didn't watch, didn't end up watching the game, which I mean, smart decision in the end. But I was like, yeah, that was the worst soccer game that I've ever watched, and I've watched a dozen of them. You know, I've watched so many soccer games at this point.

Man, that was brutal. It's just emblematic of just the difference in class between the American players and players abroad, guys that have been in European academies and systems, and man, they really clout. As soon as they didn't start, Kevin De Bruyne, it kind of said everything that they thought about us as a soccer nation.

Yeah, rough night for Americans.
But it's nice that we can all commiserate together. You're used to commiserating only with other Jets fans. That's true. That's all you can do is go to that fan. I mean, as a born and raised Yinser, it hasn't been that long, not quite as long as you've been dealing with the Ls. But anyway, we're going to talk a little Best Ball today.
I don't really have that much from a game theory, what I'm seeing perspective right now. I've still been approaching drafts with the mentality of mixing things up from a structural perspective. I don't want to only go running back, running back, and then have these teams that are structured the exact same way, because then I'm not getting the right exposure for certain players and such. But I also think that we shouldn't assume that there's only one optimal way to draft these things. I think that it could very easily be a year where we get better wide receiver production, especially at the top, or could be a year where we get some of these middle round running backs who have good pass catching profiles. I don't want to just dismiss them because I'm going after quarterback so frequently. So I've really been mixing it up quite a bit.
