I'm building bridges around this piece.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:01)
Building bridges?

**Craig Carton** (0:02)
There's a sales guy I've known for 15 years I've never spoken to before. Bart Scott's in the building, comes down and gets my best friend.

**Bart Scott** (0:10)
My buddy, my buddy, where I go? He'll go, my buddy and me.

**Craig Carton** (0:17)
Let me see if I can, anything else I have here. Tennis star Nick Gurgio has tested positive for cocaine. Is that supposed to move the needle for me at all or no?
Sandy, is he any good?

**Chris McMonigle** (0:27)
He's kind of good, but he's a little bit out of it.

**Craig Carton** (0:30)
Alvin Kamara is going to be out of month with an MCL sprain.

**Bart Scott** (0:32)
Who tested positive for cocaine? A real player?

**Craig Carton** (0:34)
A tennis guy, Nick Gurgirios. He's supposed to be like the bad boy guy, right? That's the generation of John McEnroe.

**SPEAKER_4** (0:44)
I know nothing about tennis. I just know him because he's always getting in trouble.

**Craig Carton** (0:48)
Yeah, LT.

**Bart Scott** (0:48)
Jacked up on Mountain Dew, baby.

**Craig Carton** (0:50)
I think my favorite LT story of all time, and it's him telling it, he tells a story that there was a, I guess the Giants were playing on Sunday night at the end of his, towards the end of his career, and he's driving on the New Jersey Turnpike, and he sees all the lights on at Giants Stadium, and he's like, I wonder what concert's at the stadium? And the phones or whatever, and he pulls over, whatever happens, he calls up and he goes, who's performing at Giants Stadium?

**Bart Scott** (1:20)
He's like, dude, we got a game. You are! He missed the first quarter, right?

**Craig Carton** (1:26)
He missed the first quarter, maybe the first half, and still had like four sacks.

**Bart Scott** (1:30)
To quote the late, great Rick James, cocaine's a hell of a drug.

**Craig Carton** (1:34)
There you go. And when he tells the story, it's such an awesome story, because you know he's not embellishing at all.

**Bart Scott** (1:40)
Yeah, because the crazy part is, you're supposed to be at the hotel the night before.

**Craig Carton** (1:45)
Right, right.

**Bart Scott** (1:46)
Like, you had two days to realize you had a game, brother.

**Craig Carton** (1:48)
Yeah.

**Bart Scott** (1:48)
And you know he ain't had no cell phone. No cell phone at all. He hit him on his beeper. He got his beeper off.
9-1-1.

**SPEAKER_4** (1:55)
There ain't no cell phone.

**Craig Carton** (1:57)
And Bill Parcell's didn't do a damn thing about it.

**Bart Scott** (1:59)
Nope.

**Craig Carton** (2:01)
Four sacks. Something stupid like that. Anyway.

**Bart Scott** (2:03)
No, I gotta find you.

**Craig Carton** (2:04)
Bart Scott's here in for Big Mac. Did you guys trade reggae again one more time before we get out of here?
Just try one more time, all right, if you don't mind.

**Bart Scott** (2:13)
Is there a picture of Tiki somewhere?

**Craig Carton** (2:15)
There is a picture of Tiki in the... Oh, in front. Yeah.
Yeah. I think they had Tiki put on a Jetschers, if I'm not mistaken.

**Bart Scott** (2:24)
OK.

**Craig Carton** (2:24)
Yeah. There's a wacky radio bit.

**Bart Scott** (2:26)
Oh my, what the hell is it? It's down in front here. Down in front there.

**Craig Carton** (2:30)
We try to clean the studio before we go on TV.
Here's Joe in Wappinger Falls on the fan. Joe, what's going on today, buddy?

**Chris McMonigle** (2:39)
Craig, Bart, how's everybody doing today? Thank you. So I got to know I got I got an Odell question I want to ask you guys. But Bart, I want to tell you a quick story. And I know there's no way you can remember everybody you meet over the years. I get it.
But back in 2020, there was an event at MetLife. They let a bunch of people come in and watch little giants on the field, watching the screen. You talked to my son for about 25 minutes about hockey.
It was the coolest thing ever. You were a big Detroit Red Wings fan. Remember you telling that? Yeah, man. He actually asked you to follow him on. You actually asked him to follow you on Twitter. You're like, dude, I know you had to do that. My people do it. You gave him your phone. He put his name in there. To this day, I think he's the only person not famous that you follow, so it's awesome. I just want to say that you're a wonderful guy.
