Bald Heads, Hockey Fights & Chris Kerber's Shiny Dome
The Rizzuto Show | Daily Comedy Podcast
October 14, 2026
Chris Kerber is bald, free, and apparently polished enough to reflect the studio lights. The St. Louis Blues are winning hockey games, Ross Johnston is throwing punches, and Rizz has decided the best way to give away concert tickets is to make listeners guess a random St. Louis ZIP code.

The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely on advertisements.

All right, St. Louis Real Talk. After those storms last year, my roof was a disaster, and I didn't want the headache. So I called the Happy Roof Company, and I couldn't be happier, because yeah, a roof job is loud, it's chaotic, and they were on it. They didn't just drop off a crew and disappear. Communication was tight the whole way. And the biggest thing, they helped me handle all the insurance company stuff. That alone saved me a ton of time and a ton of frustration. Now the roof looks gorgeous, clean lines, solid workmanship, high-end materials. It looks like it belongs on the house, not some patch and prey repair. And they back shingle roofs with a 10-year labor warranty. If you've got storm damage, leaks or an older roof, make Happy Roof Company your first call. Tell them you heard about it on the Rizz Show. Go to thehappyroof.com, thehappyroof.com, or call 314-665-3001.
That's 314-665-3001, The Happy Roof Co. Because who doesn't want a happy ending?
Chris Kerber (1:39)
Good morning, everybody. How are you?
Rizz (1:41)
And where are we this morning?
Chris Kerber (1:45)
I am in Ottawa, Ontario. We will, team will have a practice today and then we'll fly down to St. Paul after this.
Rizz (1:55)
Okay.
Chris Kerber (1:56)
And later on today.
Rizz (1:57)
Well, today, Chris, it's not only Wednesday, but today is Be Bald and Free Day. Be bald, it's Be Bald and Free.
Chris Kerber (2:07)
I am bald, I am free, I fit the bill.
Rizz (2:10)
Does your baldness equal freedom, Chris?
Chris Kerber (2:14)
Oh, listen, man, I could take a nap sitting in the car, doing nothing. I'll never get bed head. Like this is perfect.
Rafe (2:21)
Good point. Free from pomade. Do you ever get bed scalp?
Chris Kerber (2:26)
No, no, I don't have enough fat on my head at this point to where I get kind of like the marks there. That's good.
No, no, here's the thing. Like I, I'm kind of like the Chia pet, okay? I have hair potential. And so it looks like, and I could still grow probably a decent amount of hair. But on the top part or the front part, it would cover, if you let it grow out enough, I'd either have to do the horseshoe or it would look like a bit of a comb over. And years ago I said, I am never doing that. So I just went, I just went to the bone at that point.
Rizz (2:57)
And I would love to see the fryer tuck.
Chris Kerber (3:01)
I just don't listen. Okay, I could, I could, I could very easily do that. And then, and I don't, I don't know that I'd like it, but I could try it.
Rafe (3:10)
I'd like to see what the little island up top, that little, that little hair island that everybody hangs on to. It looks like a baby's hair when they're first born.
Chris Kerber (3:17)
Yeah, I make some, I make fun of some buddies of mine. I'm like, well, you could get into denial. Like you got Gilligan hanging out up there, you know, like just shaved the thing off.
Rizz (3:25)
So was it liberating just letting it all go? I mean, how long ago did you start going completely bald?
Chris Kerber (3:31)
Oh man, I, I, 10, 12, 12, 12, 13 years ago. I don't know. I don't remember, was it liberating? Yeah, it got to the point where I, you know, when you go into the barber shop and you realize, man, I'm paying more for this guy to spend a lot less time cutting my hair and then, you know, and then, but then you realize like, okay, it's really like, you're starting to see the thinness, you know, over there. And then, you know, so I just, at that point I said, well, I'm not doing the horseshoe thing. And, you know, and there was one moment where I decided to try to grow it back. I'm like, you know what? Like, there's enough on there. Like, let's do it. And I did. And the moment you had to start parting it again, you're like, nope, that ain't going to work. And right off it went again.
So I just wanted to make sure I wasn't foolish the first time and I proved it the second.
Rafe (4:20)
When you go into the barber and they stop putting the apron on you.
That's when you know. He's like, you can put that on. He's like, I don't think that's going to be necessary. He's just making noises. He's making clipper noises behind it. You're all done, buddy.
