At ZocDoc, we know you care about your health. You wouldn't do that early morning cardio if you didn't. So the fact that your annual physical is overdue just shows how hard it can be to get seen by a doctor. Sorry, that doctor's not in network.

When Harry Met Sally, it was the feel-good movie of the year. The producers were thinking sequel, but even with the classic orgasm scene, it just couldn't shake off that image as a girl movie.

What to do? Well, the solution was simple. Get ready for the no longer a girl movie feel-good cavity sequel of the year. It's When Curly Met Sally.

Aaron (2:33)

What are you puffing up about?

SPEAKER_4 (2:35)

Those are red.

SPEAKER_1 (2:36)

And how do you do?

Aaron (2:37)

Drink four of these and...

SPEAKER_1 (2:43)

Oh, no, not that.

SPEAKER_4 (3:45)

When Curly Met Sally.

Tom Griswold (3:46)

I'll have a couple if I ever saw one.

SPEAKER_4 (3:48)

I'll have what she's having. Sight me.

Bob Kevoian (3:54)

Now, you mentioned earlier that today is National Cheeseburger Day.

Kristi Lee (3:57)

It is.

Bob Kevoian (3:58)

We have a little history for you.

SPEAKER_1 (4:00)

OK.

Bob Kevoian (4:01)

I didn't realize any of this.

SPEAKER_1 (4:02)

Yeah.

Bob Kevoian (4:03)

The cheeseburger, it goes back quite a ways.

I've always been a big fan. Do you want to tell us more about it?

Kristi Lee (4:09)

Yeah. September 18th, which is today, is National Cheeseburger Day. There are many theories to the cheeseburger's origins dating back to the 1920s.

I think I would have thought it was older than that, honestly.

Bob Kevoian (4:22)

Yeah.

Tom Griswold (4:23)

You find out they were eating it at Henry VIII's castle.

Bob Kevoian (4:27)

But I mean, the hamburger, when did it come?

Tom Griswold (4:30)

Well, the cheeseburger came first, and then finally somebody went, you know I'm lactose intolerant. And they said, well.

Bob Kevoian (4:36)

Took the cheese off.

Kristi Lee (4:37)

Yeah. One story suggests that Lionel Sternberger invented the cheeseburger in 1926 while working at his father's sandwich shop in Pasadena, California, called The Right Spot.

Lionel Clark Sternberger was also recognized as the inventor of the cheeseburger in the February 7th, 1964 issue of Time Magazine's obituary section.

Tom Griswold (5:00)

Oh, no kidding.

Bob Kevoian (5:01)

Yeah. Hmm.

Kristi Lee (5:03)

A restaurant in Los Angeles called Odell's placed the cheeseburger on their menu in 1928, while Kalen's restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky claims they invented the cheeseburger in 1934

Tom Griswold (5:15)

I wonder if they're still open.

Kristi Lee (5:16)

I don't know.

Tom Griswold (5:17)

It'd be cool to go to some of these places.

Kristi Lee (5:18)

Yeah. The Humpty Dumpty Drive-In in Denver, Colorado trademarked the name cheeseburger in 1935

Tom Griswold (5:25)

Of course, all of their burgers have a fried egg on top.

Bob Kevoian (5:28)

Of course.

Kristi Lee (5:29)

Gus Belt, the founder of Steak and Shake, also applied for a trademark of that word in the 30s.
