Kirkland Patzer (0:14)

I thought there was more to it, I'm not gonna lie. It just abruptly ended.

Dylan West (0:16)

I wondered if there would be more to it.

Kirkland Patzer (0:19)

Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

Dylan West (0:20)

Welcome to another Weekly Geek.

Kirkland Patzer (0:23)

This time featuring, are we still the Wailers? Is that still our nickname?

Dylan West (0:26)

We're still the Wailers, the Wailers just have been absent. We haven't had a Wailer app in a while. Even on SideQuest, we haven't done an episode together in a while.

Kirkland Patzer (0:33)

That's true, like just you and me. It's been a hot minute. I feel like we go through phases of like, we just got weeks in a row where it's only you and me, and then I just don't see you for a while. It's weird, but we're back together again, the Wailers. Yes, I'm one of your hosts. I'm the misadventurer, Kirkland Patzer.

Dylan West (0:47)

And my name is Dylan West. And honestly, if you look at the calendar, Kirkland, I think we got a lot of other two-person casts coming up. We're coming back to the Wailers era. We've been on the bench a little bit, but we're climbing up again.

Kirkland Patzer (0:58)

Like I said, it ebbs and flows. It's like the tide, so we're coming back. We're going to be flooding your ear waves, listeners with just the two of us. Well, I'm sure the other guys will be around.

Dylan West (1:08)

We'll invite the other guys, everyone.

Kirkland Patzer (1:10)

Maybe. We'll see how much fun this episode is. If it's too much fun, then maybe we won't invite them.

Dylan West (1:14)

Taylor's not fun at all. We'll be like, you know what? Wailers, they were best on the bench.

Kirkland Patzer (1:18)

Yeah, I hope it's not a super stinker. But yeah, ladies and gentlemen, we got some fun things to talk about today. We got some Marvel classic BS meters. We're going to go over some rumors and whatnot and just kind of give our takes on the probability of it. We got, of course, some trailers also. And there's something else in there. Oh, and then the news about Daredevil ending after season three. We'll talk about that. But yeah, something to plug. I guess we're still doing Lanterns reviews. Taylor's gone right now. So Travis has been holding down the fort on that.

He's also been kind of cooking with the Travis Told use. I feel like those just like randomly pop here and there. I thought it was like a one week thing, but I feel like he's already done two this week. So if you got nothing going on in the middle of the day, like he does, just kidding, I know he's working from home, but let's still, I like to josh at him, but go check out those. We have a Resident Evil review on the feeds.

Dylan West (2:17)

I was shocked by that. I mean, I only listen to the non-spoilers section, but I was shocked to hear about all of that. So go listen to the review people if you haven't yet, because I was-

Kirkland Patzer (2:26)

Does it make you want to watch it at all? Like just because it's kind of a shocking thing, right?

Dylan West (2:32)

It was not the response I was expecting. So maybe I will, but I don't think I'll be suing the theaters for it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Kirkland Patzer (2:40)

That's fair. No, absolutely. That was definitely a divisive conversation. So if you want to hear our thoughts on that, go check it out. As Dylan mentioned, there's a spoilers-free section, of course, like we always do in the big reviews.

What else is on the feeds right now? I think that's it for the shows and reviews right now. I was off the shows for a while, so I've definitely been just away from those reviews. I was on Lanterns. I missed X-Men. I feel like there's another one I missed too. But yeah, I've been a little bit away on those reviews. But nonetheless, I was there for Resident Evil. And I was here. Travis and I did another If I Speak episode, and that was a lot of fun. We broke down some wild stuff in there. We never know where we're going to go on those episodes. We have one thing to talk about, and we usually don't even talk about the one thing. It just goes on tangents. But that was nearly a three-hour episode. So if you want to hear some jibber jabbing on there.

Dylan West (3:32)

I didn't mean to drop the F on there. That's crazy though. Wow.
