Good day, listeners, and welcome to another episode of the Scouting Australia Podcast, powered by Australian Property Scout Buyers Agency. I'm your host, Sammy Gordon. And today, guys, we have the tri-annual round table from the APS Big Guns. We have some very impressive, important people at APS in the studio today, guys, including one very special debut and one very special senior citizen. Moving on from that, which we will get to shortly. But I think, guys, this is the time to really understand what's happening in the property market, understanding the lay of the land right now, and then dissecting Australia's number one Buyers Agency's predictions for the rest of the year, the remainder of 2026 And that is what we are here to discuss. Bringing back to the mic, the senior citizen of myself, Mr. Jimmy Ibrahim. Welcome, mate. Welcome from the Retired Village. How are you, mate?
**Jimmy Ibrahim** (0:57)
I'm feeling a bit dusty. Yes. No, I'm feeling good, Sammy. It's always great to get together with the team.
The round tables are always one of the most popular podcasts, but it's also good to get together with the team. Pick the brains of the inner sanctum and find out what's actually really happening in the market. And also, I'm keen to hear some predictions. One of the most famous predictions from Big Luke Ychusen a few years ago cost him a very expensive bottle of alcohol, but no one has ever forgotten that one.
**Luke Ychusen** (1:24)
Which has never been seen. No one has ever forgotten that prediction.
**Floyd** (1:27)
I think you might have eaten it.
**Jimmy Ibrahim** (1:28)
So I'm keen to hear a few of the predictions, but it's also exciting time, Sammy, because two of the two of the cohort here are newly fathers, had two kids, a lot. Not only a lot is happening in property, but a lot is happening in the bedroom as well.
**Sammy Gordon** (1:44)
Yes, I can attest to that.
**Paul** (1:47)
But moving on, some are having kids.
**Sammy Gordon** (1:49)
Lukey boy, Lukey, mate, welcome back. Speaking of newborns, mates, you're looking like a baby face today.
**Luke Ychusen** (1:55)
Thanks, mate. No, I appreciate it. Well, as you get older, it's actually a compliment more than anything. So I'll run with it, but no, it's been good. Busy time, I guess.
**Sammy Gordon** (2:03)
So good to be back.
**Luke Ychusen** (2:04)
No, good to be back. Had a full month off. So we're still around the traps and doing a fair bit with the team and making sure everything's moving and all questions for clients are moving. But no, it was good to have a bit of time off and enjoy it and back to it now.
**Sammy Gordon** (2:18)
100%. Man, I think you and I were both off at the same time. I was gallivanting around Bali and commandeering the island whilst you were looking after the newborn and your lovely wife. But man, I think it was funny because there was still so much dropping while we were supposed to be off. And like I did the webinar from Bali, man, and everything that was sort of cracking on and going off over there.
So it's an interesting time to say the least. So it's an interesting market to be a part of.
**Luke Ychusen** (2:43)
And it was a very interesting period with lots of questions from lots of people.
I was trying to be as available as possible, but no, it was good. It's going to be a hectic finish for the US for sure.
**Sammy Gordon** (2:53)
100%. Speaking of new babies coming into the mix, Paulie, then another. You like to have a cry sometimes. How is it being on the other side of that?
**Paul** (3:02)
Yeah, it's good to be back, bro. Sunny in Melbourne, raining in GC.
**Luke Ychusen** (3:07)
You dirty Southern dogs bringing it up with you.
**Paul** (3:10)
No, it's good to be back, bro. I had a few weeks off, but everything's good. And we're flying out work, so straight back into it.
**Sammy Gordon** (3:18)
Beautiful, mate. I love it. I love it. I'm looking forward to getting your dissection of the market as it was, with where you're obviously operating and then as a greater whole from the BA side of things we're seeing from the buying division as well. So, mate, I'm looking forward to diving into that very soon too. Yep. Beautiful. Mr. Gagan, head of education.
**Brendo** (3:35)
We're back.
**Sammy Gordon** (3:36)
He's back. He's got a fresh fade. He's still got a little bit of tan left over from Bali, man. How are you feeling?
