Welcome back. It was a long week in Tampa at SEC Media Days. We got to meet with Alex Golesh before he spoke, the night before he spoke. We also spoke with Alex at Media Days.
Champ Anthony sat down with us. It was a great, I think it was our best Media Days yet. But on today's show, I want to talk about how some things shook out in the voting for preseason all SEC. On today's show, we're going to talk about no Tigers voted to any team on offense. And then we'll look at the bright side of things on defense. There were some guys voted defense and special teams. Let's start at the top. As I mentioned in our cold open, zero Auburn Tigers voted to preseason all SEC on offense. Talk to me about this one. This feels like why Alex Golesh is here. Period, full stop, right?
And we're done talking about Hugh, but this is kind of Hugh's fault, right? Like this is Hugh's fault.

Especially when you see his guys get voted on preseason, all SEC first teams and when they're with other teams.
So yeah, I mean, totally. I mean, if you had decent offense, not only do you probably have some preseason Auburn SEC teams, all preseason, all SEC players on offense this year, but Hugh probably doesn't, Hugh probably still has a job. You just couldn't get anything done on offense. And now you're sort of, if you want to call this, you know, the punishment, I guess, for that, that's what you're dealing with. But like I said, I think with Alex Golesh here, maybe you can get some of these guys on the postseason list, which are the ones that really, really matter.

Yeah, like, okay, so I want to be clear here.
Going down the list, it was very, very difficult to vote any Auburn Tigers on offense. Now, I will be clear, I did vote Jeremiah Cobb to second team. Okay. All SEC offense, I felt like he deserved a second team selection. I mean, it's some still competition on first team.

Yeah, right. I don't think we could ignore Jaden Ba and Ahmad Hardy, if, I mean, Hardy's situation is a little in flux.

I mean, Kiwan Lacey.

Kiwan Lacey, yeah. I mean, first team would have been a stretch, to be clear. So I did not vote him first team, but I did feel like he was clearly second team. Now, Ba and Nate Frazier from Georgia.
