Week two of fall camp is upon us, and Kyle, this feels very different from last year's fall camp.
**Kyle Rush** (2:04)
Way different.

Kyle, you and I have been out there every open practice since fall camp has opened. So we're gonna give you guys a good idea of the feel of what's happening and how that differs from last year's team. Don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel. Kyle, I have been, I think it's remarkable. I think the differences are remarkable.
One of the things I've noticed as a change in process, I tweeted this, I don't know if you saw it, but Alex Golesh is very hands on during practice.
And one of the things that I have noted is, I don't think I've been to an open practice where he is not one on one coaching a receiver.
**Kyle Rush** (3:18)
That's a good point.
**Mike G** (3:19)
He is always on the receivers. And I would argue that that is a group that probably needs the most improvement in terms of production during a game. Talk to me about Alex Golesh's approach to fall camp versus what we saw last year. One of the things Payton Thorne told me was, he said, look ma'am, the defense and offense are like two different football teams during practice. I'm not getting that sense this fall camp that those two things are different.
**Kyle Rush** (3:46)
Man, it's funny you said that, quoted Payton there, because it felt like, viewing it, that the offense and defense was different last year. And it started with the way they warm up. You know what I mean? Like, yeah, well, you would have the former head coach kind of just sitting in the middle of the field, just overseeing the defense all stretched together, like one unit, and then the offense would be like separated into little pods all over the place. You'd have running backs over here, wide receivers, you know, so on and so forth. And you know what? That's the way it looked on Saturdays, too. It looked like the defense would function as a unit, and the offense was like a bunch of different position groups trying to do their own thing and weren't communicating and things like that. It's totally different. It's not only does everybody stretch together, but like I saw Von Trail King Williams hyping up the wide receivers one day. Like every coach is going everywhere, like to get people hyped. Like it's clearly everybody's on the same page, and Golesh is leading the charge. Like when you go out on the field, we made a joke in spring that like you would leave a position group and go watch another position group, and Alex Goles would beat you there. You know what I mean? Like it was, he's just everywhere.
