So, here's the thing.
Lane Kiffin is going to coach an offense up. I think the issue for me, and I've always said this from LSU, is number one, I don't think that, I haven't seen anything from that quarterback that they have right now that makes me think that he's going to be amazing. I think that Lane Kiffin is going to set him up for success a lot. I think he's going to make some, if you watched Levitt play, he'll make an amazing play and he'll make an absolutely boneheaded one. And if he continues to be that kind of guy, it's going to put a very big ceiling on what LSU can do according to what the projections are. And did that defense get any better? Because talent has not been the issue at LSU. It's not like Lane Kiffin brought more talent than LSU. LSU has always been talented.
Never going to be an issue at LSU for talent. Is the defense going to play better? And can Sam Levitt be more consistent than he's been previously, especially if he doesn't have the same kind of run game that propelled him to that championship run?
So that's a long way of saying, yeah, I do think maybe LSU is a little overrated, but because of the talent that they have, I understand why people are putting them there and the Lane Kiffin offensive factor.
