Auburn FINALLY Learned How To Win These Games
The Auburn Express
September 8, 2026
Auburn football did something against Baylor that this program simply has not done enough over the last few seasons: find a way to win when everything wasn’t going perfectly. Was it pretty? No. Was the Auburn offense as explosive or efficient as expected? Definitely not.

Jägermeister knows that there's people who watch the game and people who know the game. Knowers know rivalries aren't heated. They're ice cold.
They know rankings change. Traditions don't. And they know that when you drink Jägermeister on game day, you drink it ice cold. Otherwise, you just don't know the game.
So drink it ice cold, or don't drink it at all. Jägermeister. Damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jägermeister Liqueur 35% alcohol by volume. Imported by Mass Jägermeister US, White Plains, New York.

I think a lot of people watched Jackson Arnold last night, just want him to get some validation that it was him. He was the wrong quarterback.
Ike Jones (3:29)
Yeah, and so I still think that while I'm not sold that Jackson Arnold is fixed, as some people like to say, I do think that he didn't, that Hugh Freeze did him no favors last year.
Mike G (3:44)
I agree. I would say that for every quarterback that played under Hugh.
Ike Jones (3:49)
Yeah, no.
Mike G (3:49)
Yeah, I agree. I think they all got screwed, honestly. Just expecting the players to save the system instead of the system saving the players is going to be interesting.
Our guy, Y2K Sports and Life, going to come down to one possession game. This is copium. I get it. I get why you want to believe this. I don't think this is going to be the case here. Not with Baylor having to travel east to Atlanta. I don't know, man. The Georgia Dome is like Jordan-Hare East.
It's not going to be an easy task for them. That thing will be packed out with Auburn fans. That will be 95 percent Auburn fans in the Georgia Dome. So it's a home game.
Ike Jones (4:42)
And it's going to be 2 percent Bama fans because they can't help themselves.
Mike G (4:47)
They'll be bored and they'll want to come see your real team play.
Jake Padgett says the SEC records are going to be down a little this year. Vegas doesn't have any team at 10 plus wins total. Last year, they had several. 10 and 2 is the new 9 and 3
Ike Jones (5:05)
I don't know, like, I don't know if I agree with that wholeheartedly as terms of 10 and 2 being the new 9 and 3
Because then in that scenario, you're thinking that multiple teams in the SEC are going to get into the college football playoff at 9 and 3 And I just don't know that I've seen that bear out yet. If there are three or four teams right there in that next grouping at 9 and 3, maybe one of them gets into the college football playoff and that would be the first time that that's ever happened for any conference ever, right? Like, so.
