Midweek SEC availability reports show some things that may influence this game in favor of the Auburn Tigers. Let's talk about it.

Welcome on in to The Auburn Express powered by The War Rapport. You got Ike Jones, turn us on, turn us up. We'll definitely turn it out. All aboard. Let's get straight to the conversation. The SEC is required to provide these availability reports. Now, this is like the third season that this has been going on. And on the availability reports for Tennessee listed as out, breaking news on Wednesday night, Wendell Moe Jr, the offensive lineman, and one of the better all SEC preseason performers, predictions, all that kind of stuff, has been kind of the stalwart through the first three in a couple of snaps of game four for Tennessee, ruled out for the season after the injury early in that Texas game. And that changes the dynamics a lot for this Tennessee offensive line and an Auburn defense that's trying to get in there and create havoc on a true freshman quarterback.

Never wanna wish injuries on anybody. So this is not me celebrating the injury of a player that's gonna be crucial to the opposing team. But what it is is an opportunity though, for Auburn to kind of figure out before Tennessee gets their legs under them and tries to figure out who are gonna be the best people available in the trenches to be able to supplement or make up for what they're losing with one of their better interior offensive linemen. Auburn has an opportunity to get them before they get their legs again.

Texas had the best shot at it, right? Because it was during the game. So they didn't have a full week of practice to prep the person that was gonna be coming in behind them. But when you look at this, he definitely is a guy that's going to be contributing heavily or has contributed heavily to the success of this Tennessee offense and what they want to do with the interior run game. I had an opportunity, if you haven't watched the midweek rapport, I had an opportunity to get in here and have the conversation about this. And my guy Vince Ferreira was hittin me to it. He had just really broken about why this isn't an actual issue. So go back and listen to that conversation for him talking about it. A guy that covers Tennessee sports heavily, talking about how this could be very impactful for Tennessee, not just in this first game where they know he's not going to be available, but him being out for the remainder of the season, how it could be a possibility to be a detrimental thing, particularly to the run game and the way in which Tennessee likes to run the football.
