But, you know, just like I told the guy on ABC, danger is my business. Danger is my business.
SPEAKER_2 (0:50)
Oh, you need to switch me over.
Rollo Tomassi (1:00)
She's trying to teach Captain Michael Sartain how to do his own podcast. Well, finally, we're back in lovely Las Vegas, Nevada, home of the Western Conference Champions, the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
The villains of the NHL, apparently.
SPEAKER_4 (1:35)
Oh, man.
Rollo Tomassi (1:37)
I want to let everyone know that it's not men who are the problem. It is women who are the problem right now, and we're going to get into it. Thick and heavy, here we go.
SPEAKER_4 (1:46)
Women's whole lens of the social world has moved, not only online, but universal. Many of them, especially Gen Z, live their whole existence through the lens of Instagram, posting the most mundane of life updates. They plan their lives around what will look good on Instagram, literally photographing and videoing everything and giving a daily update. The Ukrainian refugees, they walk around like they're a journalist. They will narrate their life to the audience like they're the main character.
SPEAKER_2 (2:19)
I would imagine Instagram skews much more female. It really does fit Like female. psychology, basically, Instagram becomes like a collage of your life highlights. It seems like that's something that's much more appealing to the female mind. Their social media feeds are much more curated that way than men's, for example. I wonder how much that's affected social life in other ways. One thing that comes to mind is how long people are delaying family formation. You have to wonder how much of that is a factor when you have to collect X number of experiences in your twenties and kind of build this up.
SPEAKER_4 (2:51)
They kind of see their life far more as a storybook. Their youthful prime is this opportunity to gather the most attention. Every time that they post, they're being socially validated, which is really what women run on.
Rollo Tomassi (3:06)
Yes, including this chick right here.
SPEAKER_4 (3:09)
What's your ideal partner?
SPEAKER_5 (3:11)
Tall, muscular, rich.
SPEAKER_6 (3:15)
What do you think are the qualities of a man that you'd like to date?
SPEAKER_7 (3:19)
Rich, muscular, tall, eight pack.
SPEAKER_8 (3:21)
I like your motherland.
SPEAKER_2 (3:23)
Rich, muscular, tall. You need to lower your standards.
SPEAKER_7 (3:27)
You're not going to get tall, muscular, eight pack.
SPEAKER_4 (3:31)
You don't go to the gym.
SPEAKER_7 (3:32)
Where did this eight pack come from?
SPEAKER_4 (3:33)
I don't know. Eight pack looks good. You don't go to the gym?
SPEAKER_6 (3:36)
Excuse me.
SPEAKER_4 (3:36)
You don't either.
SPEAKER_5 (3:37)
You're supposed to go to the gym today.
SPEAKER_6 (3:39)
There's no shame in being picky when it comes to love, all right?
SPEAKER_4 (3:45)
Right.
Rollo Tomassi (3:45)
Everyone, bookmark that. Remember that for the today's lesson, okay?
SPEAKER_4 (3:50)
What is the perfect arm for boyfriend?
SPEAKER_9 (3:52)
Oh, God. Is here a three?
SPEAKER_10 (3:54)
Um, I think...
SPEAKER_9 (3:57)
Wait, wait, wait.
Rollo Tomassi (3:57)
Before I do that, I got to set this up. Kyle, look at those arms right there.
SPEAKER_10 (4:01)
Yeah.
Rollo Tomassi (4:02)
Okay. Which do you think, predictively, which would you think women would prefer?
SPEAKER_10 (4:08)
Three.
Rollo Tomassi (4:09)
Three? Okay. Here we go.
SPEAKER_9 (4:11)
Hmm. I would say maybe two or three, because you don't want it, whatever that is at the end of the, oh, but the veins, everything like...
SPEAKER_5 (4:19)
Not too much.
SPEAKER_9 (4:20)
That is like, I don't know, that looks like a predator type of arm. I don't know. Ooh.
SPEAKER_5 (4:26)
Three or four?
SPEAKER_7 (4:27)
In between three and four. Why not five? Because it looks like they're not going to eat a sweet treat with me. Um, I'd say three.
SPEAKER_9 (4:34)
I would say five. Damn. You're the first girl to say five today.
SPEAKER_10 (4:38)
No, it's just a tree.
SPEAKER_9 (4:40)
Three.
SPEAKER_7 (4:41)
It's right in the middle. What do you think is the perfect definition?
SPEAKER_5 (4:44)
Two.
SPEAKER_4 (4:45)
Why two?
SPEAKER_5 (4:46)
This looks inhuman.
SPEAKER_6 (4:48)
So does this a little bit.
SPEAKER_10 (4:49)
So somewhere, somewhere here.
SPEAKER_4 (4:51)
What is the perfect arm for a boyfriend?
SPEAKER_7 (4:53)
Maybe a two.
SPEAKER_4 (4:55)
Why?
SPEAKER_7 (4:55)
Because like anything above a three is definitely for the male gaze.
SPEAKER_6 (5:02)
That is actually wrong.
SPEAKER_7 (5:04)
How is that wrong?
SPEAKER_4 (5:06)
I don't know.
Rollo Tomassi (5:09)
That is actually wrong.
SPEAKER_2 (5:12)
No, you're wrong.
Rollo Tomassi (5:14)
Approved.
SPEAKER_10 (6:14)
You're always getting in the way. Married woman.
