This is the DNVR Broncos Podcast, and this is a really cool day in everything we do here at DNVR. Of course, it is our big brothers, big sisters day of giving part of Spirit Week here on the DNVR Broncos Podcast. I got Dre with me. We're in the Xfinity studio.

And we're gonna make a difference today.

We are.

And I have to get a little bit sentimental here. Because oftentimes, I feel like we don't have real jobs.

Well, we're kind of doing bits.

And we don't really like, I like look at other people and I'm like, wow, that's an important job. It's a good thing they do that.

Yeah, right. Like, wow, that person is making an impact.

Bullshit about football.
But once in a while, we do things where I'm like, oh, shoot, we could actually make a difference in life. Yeah, and sometimes that is some of you guys coming up to us and telling us how much it meant for us to be there for you during an important time or those stories are incredible.

They're going to make me cry.

This but this partnership that we have created with big brothers, big sisters is super, super special.

And I wanted to give you a little bit of an opportunity to talk about it, because I feel like you've been really close.

The best. Yeah, I've had the real fortune working with those guys for the last year. Their Colorado team is absolutely incredible. All the littles, all the bigs that I've met through the different events, fundraisers, career expos, you name it, that we've done with them have been outstanding. What that organization is doing, how they're growing, the increased and continued impact they're making is just mind blowing. The power of mentorship is real, man.
My guy right here is one of my great mentors in life and just the impact RK's made in my life. And like, you know, I've been able to connect with one of the littles we met at the Justin Sternodd-Dick Sporting Goods, Amari, my guy. And, you know, he's just 17, but he's talking to me about the three kids he's mentoring, you know, like it just has all these like, it's like a coaching tree, you know, like Bill Walsh coming from that Paul Brown coaching tree and all the impacts that that's had, you know, it's that's that's Big Brothers, Big Sisters. And the fact that we can do this for the youth in our community, the kids in our state who need it, who need that extra support, just need to be seen, need a little extra boost or bump.
So special man gives me goosebumps. So yeah, donate today, give. And if you can't donate, man, look into becoming a mentor because they're looking for mentors, especially male mentors right now. They've got so many male littles, they would love to pair with a male mentor. So if you can contribute that way, that's amazing too. But what they've been able to do and what our partnership was able to accomplish in year one and can accomplish in future years and beyond is just, I'm so excited, man.

Absolutely. And the last thing I'll say on this for now is a lot of people have complaints about things going on in their community.
But not a lot of people are doing anything to help it. And I really think that investing in Big Brothers Big Sisters, whether that be via donation or via your time, is an investment in your community being better in the long haul.
