Here's something you won't hear too often. I'm really looking forward to my next colonoscopy, not to check sort of if I'm healthy, per se, but I was surprised at the sleep that I got. It was some of the best sleep of my life because they put you under. And I know that sounds crazy, but you probably get much better sleep than I do. I mean, I got a couple of young kids, but even before that, for most of my life, I barely slept well. And today, as I turn 50 next year, I'm really taking a focus on getting as much sleep as I can. So I have the broiler on, so if you see me sweating, it's not our fault, it's not our fault. We're gonna talk a little bit about health goals today.

We're gonna do a moif.

We're gonna invite a couple guests to eat what I'm making right now in the oven. I have fideos, which is basically like paella, but with noodles, and they're gonna reveal their sleep habits to us. If you wanna see how I made this dish that I'm just telling you about, but I promise you it's delicious, you can stay to the very end of the episode. So, August 5th, I turned 49, and yeah, that was, we didn't really do anything special. We went on a little holiday with my family, and I've never been one for a big birthday party. I probably have had a couple in my life. I don't like celebrating it, but I never thought I'd make it to 35, let alone 50 So it's the first time in my life where I'm like, huh, this whole midlife crisis thing is a real, really hits you.
This is now getting to the point where it's not a surprise if your friends in the 50s start dying, right? It's that kind of shit. So I'm a, I'm a.

Holy shit.

It's true. It's like, if somebody dies now at like 52, you're like, eh, it's sad.

Right.

But it's not like, oh.

It's not like, oh my God. No, no, no.

It's more like it's early.

Yeah, it's for sure early.

And I've had three major surgeries the past 18 months. I knock on wood. I still have to get another one on my lower back, another replacement. But in the interim, I've decided not to wait for the surgery, and I'm just going to try to go ham on getting in the best shape I can. Probably the best shape of my life, I was probably 20, 21 years old.

You were very active, 21-year-old.

**Dave Chang** (4:36)
Very, very active.
But I can't do the things that I used to do. So I think I'm going to do anything and everything. Whatever peptide I can take, whatever human growth hormone, just give it to me.
