I'm here with my good friend, Ike Jones, the co-show host here at The Auburn Express TV. Talk a little Auburn football to get your Monday started. Ike, it's game week and we have a lot to talk about on today's show. We're going to talk about that Auburn passing game. We're going to start the show talking about the Baylor passing game led by none other than DJ Lagway. Guys, don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel. Lagway was a turnover machine last year. A lot of interceptions. It was a lot of interceptions last year for DJ Lagway. When you're breaking down his numbers, it was less than impressive. He had a five interception performance versus LSU last year, which I find interesting. Now, LSU fired Brian Kelly, and mainly because I feel like they couldn't pull together a defense worth the damn during his time there. But talk to me, man, how reformed will DJ Lagway be or can he be? 16 touchdowns to 14 interceptions at Florida last year. Yeah. You're going up against an Auburn defense that was pretty damn good all things considered.

Yeah. I mean, so he can be better for sure. Like we've seen better versions of DJ Lagway out here in the collegiate football. Florida fans who want the redemption arc or Baylor fans who believe that all things can be new, feel a lot like Auburn fans and even we here on this channel last year, hoping that the change of scenery were going to replace all of the demons that were in the system of Jackson Arnold.
At some point in time, you have to accept the quarterback is who he is though. They are not just products of system, they are a product of their habits. What DJ Lagway has a habit of doing is throwing in the coverage. He has a habit of trying to be risky with his arm. He has a habit of trying to avoid sacks and then just getting rid of the ball in haste. That was not because he was injured. That was not because the system was so terrible at Florida.
