Kind of had this weird shape-shifting thing where we were kind of going to, we always do the show on Monday mornings for a Tuesday release or most of the time, 90 percent of the time. This is a little weird, guys. We woke up and it was Washington's not done. We got to do it in a little evening shoot and then Techie Shawn's got to go put it all together, a little late bake session.

The news takes some long time sometimes too, Mike. So, I don't know, this one was good. It came to us anyways. It'll be out on a Tuesday.
Here we go. This is a great win for Fritz, just getting to it.
We kind of, like an undersold part of his season is that he missed a lot of time with the knee. Came back, played pretty well in the grass, made a couple finals, and obviously the quarters are Wimbledon. One, it's good to see him winning again, because when he played the knee against Verev in the quarters of Wimbledon, didn't quite look right. Looked like he was in a hard time loading, so hopefully that's just a one-off thing. But when you see someone who's been out with the knee problem and then struggle at Wimbledon in a big match where he has liked that matchup or at least did for the two years before that Wimbledon quarterfinal, and he's not someone who whines and cries and talks about every injury. He's just not really built that way. So it is good to see him back healthy and winning. There were some question marks, at least to me, when he walked off, being like, I hope this isn't another kind of struggle bust through this knee thing that is kind of a nagging injury for him. So it was great. I think when we have a prospect like Jodar, it's always fun to kind of reset, like he gets hot in the clay and we're going, okay, so we know he's good on clay. We know that he's going to be good on clay for a long time. Let's see him on the grass.
He was fine on grass and then reset again. Let's see him get back to it. Now is he that guy that's going to make quarter semis finals and be like a quickly be a top 10 guy? It looks that way, right? Coming straight back again, winning in DC, at least getting to the final, losing to Fritz obviously on hard. I mean, that's not anything to hang your head about, but it's fun to kind of see one person's story is like establishing that I'm one of the guys on this hard court swing outside of maybe Sinner, who can have a shot and then seeing this prospect going, you know what, I'm going to be in this conversation very soon, the conversation that Fritz is in. So I thought it was a great result for both those guys and their teams, you know. Play on a Monday, Mike, why not?
