We've all heard about cursed items, things in our homes that can curse us. I don't know if they need any more explanation.

But is it possible that even after you remove the cursed item from your residence, the curse remains?

Then we take a look at the story of a young child who has a near-death experience. They throw me a laugh, and they're like, oh yeah, a young kid's dying. Jason's favorite subject. No, it breaks my heart, but this kid doesn't die. Has a near-death experience. What happens when a child's near-death experience is so powerful, the entire family feels it.

Crazy story today on Dead Rabbit Radio.

Hey, everyone, welcome back to another episode of Dead Rabbit Radio. I'm your host, Jason Carpenter. I'm having an okay day. I'll be honest. I'll go into that in a minute. But I hope you're having a great day. I hope you guys had an excellent weekend and an excellent week so far. It was my birthday weekend, and that was really awesome for my special birthday trip I hinted at.

I went to the zoo for my 50th birthday, and I wore a big birthday hat, and I got in the fight with a chimpanzee, as you can see in the artwork for today's episode. That is not a cardboard cutout. That was an actual chimpanzee that I beat so badly, he became two-dimensional. I flattened him and froze him in place, and then continued to punch him. It was a lot of fun. I haven't been to the zoo in 30 years. I hang out with a bunch of bleeding hearts that say zoos are bad. It's like jail for animals, and my response is, yeah, jail's cool. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could just walk around prison, you're not the one being assaulted, but you go to watch crazy stuff? No, obviously, jail's horrible. I feel bad for, I won't say everyone in there, but you know, a good amount of them. But I don't feel bad for the animals, because here's the thing, it's different than jail. These animals didn't commit any crimes. But a lot of these animals, they wanted to survive. And the wild, you're like, yeah, Jason, because they've been in zoo jail for so long. They've been institutionalized. No, no, I mean, yeah, maybe some of them, but like we went and saw the black bears, and it's had a little placard saying, it was kind of sad, actually. You look at the placard and it goes, there's three black bears we found, two of them, their mother, this is not a joke, this is actually true, two of them, their mother was hit by a car, so they couldn't fend for themselves, and the car was driven by me, zoo master. That's how we get all of our animals. I travel all around the world and run over adult animals and take the babies. No, it was really cool. They said the animals' names. And so when I saw the black bear, I kind of hanging out, there's a black bear. It says, this bear doesn't like the other two bears. It actually says that on the placard. It says, this bear prefers her alone time or to follow the staff around. Probably looking for an escape exit. Oh, that's what a key is. I'll remember that. So we saw one bear kind of off on her own, and her name was Dale. And I go, hey, Dale, Dale. And Dale looks over at me. She's eating a fish, and I gave her a little thumbs up. And that was probably the first time that bear has ever seen a thumbs up. Gosh, he didn't immediately bite the human thumb off and enjoy that. No, it was a lot of fun. It was like four hours. We walked around, Sabine and I, we walked around the whole zoo, even the insect exhibit, because that was like the last thing. I like insects, but I was pretty tired by then. But no, it was a lot of fun. So yeah, thank you, everybody, for your birthday wishes. Really, really cool. I'm not having the best day. I'm actually sick, though. And I wanted to say this real quick, not looking for any sympathy or donations or anything like that, just as a heads up, because I know a lot of you guys deal with this too. I'm pretty depressed right now. And does it sound like it? Not really, right? There's no difference in the tone of my voice. You know, I got some stuff going on at work and you go, is it, you know, like, do we look at career changes? Is it time for me to move on type of thing? That sucks, you know, because that has a lot of uncertainty involved in it. So, you know, I'm kind of down about that, obviously. I don't know if I'm going to do anything. I don't know if I'm going to stick it out or move on. But so that's been real hard. And just a lot of other things. You're not feeling great physically being sick. But no, yeah. So the reason why I'm saying that, again, I'm not looking for sympathy or anything like that. But I'm saying that because I think there's a lot of people who I'm being open about my depression with you guys. But I think there's a lot of times we hide it. And sometimes it's really hard for people to tell. And then we wonder why. Well, how come no one's reaching out to me? How come no one is providing me with any comfort right now? I'm really depressed. How come nobody is noticing that?
