Good afternoon, friends. I'm up to day 7 on the 45-day trip and it's just been unbelievable so far. I've done five college visits. They've all been really good and I know what you're thinking. You're always going to say they're good. It's actually not true. I did not have a good visit to St. Mary's in Morego. I didn't and if I don't have a good visit, I'll tell you I don't have a good visit. But five for five so far, the two in Nashville, of course, Vanderbilt and Belmont, and then almost more than a half a day at St. Olaf, and also Carlton and Norfield right here, and then Macalester yesterday.

I'm having lunch with my students, I'm meeting other students. Some of the presentations have been unbelievable. I'll tell you, last night was my favorite reception that I've ever done so far. It was just incredible. First of all, it's the first time we've ever had four co-hosts all on one panel because Christina was there, Susan was there, Andy Strictly was there, and of course I was there. Then to throw in another VP of Enrollment, Adam Miller from Whitman, Dean of Admission, Anthony Berry from Trinity, and then it was our second largest attendance that we've had at one of these two. So the place was packed, the questions were incredible. It was 50% college counselor, 50% parents and students from the Minneapolis area. So that was a nice combination. And then I just can't help but shout out, I just can't help but shout out Jason and Katie Craig, the hospitality. I mean, so Katie lived in Japan for four years. So after everything was all said and done, all of us that were on the panel, she served us a sushi dinner made from scratch. And it was delectable. We've been kind of blowing each other's phones up today, still talking about that dinner. So anyway, enough about background. I'm going to dive right into today's episode because the conference is incredibly busy. So on the last episode, I said you heard part one and three of a conversation with Susan. There was actually a little bit of a miscommunication. We ran two segments there. I mean, some of you might have thought, man, this segment is long. You actually got two segments that was supposed to be last week's content and today's content.

Then I was going to record another one for the final segment, which I knew I could do Saturday night. So going in a different direction, I will come back and still record that other segment. It's just not going to be now. Instead, you're going to hear a question which is pressing, came in from a parent about what does a parent do about their own homesickness? Lisa, Lynda will handle that question.

Then you'll hear the final segment from Andy Strickler. He'll be talking about how the world of colleges find students. How do they find them? Another way of putting it, Students Search Explained Deep Dive Part 3 of 3 Without any further ado, let's transition to Lynda and Lisa.
