This episode is brought to you by Carhartt. We spend a lot of time talking about football, the players, the coaches, the big plays, but there's a whole other team we rarely think about, the people who make the game possible. The workers building stadiums, paving parking lots, growing the grass, welding the goal posts, even making the footballs. They're committed to their craft, and they're doing the work long before kickoff. Carhartt is proud to outfit those crews. So next time you're watching a game, take a second to appreciate the people behind it. Learn more at carhartt.com/join the trades.

Bill Simmons Podcast, live on Netflix. Cousin Sal is here after a cowboy's loss.
Cousin Sal (2:30)
How do they do it?
Bill Simmons (2:31)
You have kidney stones, the Cowboys just rolled over, wanted to mention. Have a new re-watchable is coming on Monday. It follows, we've been doing horror movies this month. It follows. A modern. I think that's a horror classic. Why don't I thank all the people that e-mailed or sent tweets or whatever about us talking about Paul Cohurst, our buddy who sadly passed away.
But the thing I think both of us were getting were... People talking about the little, the picks, the toothpicks.
Cousin Sal (3:03)
Yeah, the dental floss picks. Dental floss picks. Yeah.
Bill Simmons (3:07)
People are sending... A bunch of them, like pictures of different things, and like this made me think of your buddies, so it was nice to hear from everybody. And also, I want to give a shout out to Bella from Netflix, who is leaving the company, but was a great advocate for us, and a very good friend to The Ringer, and a good person, and a great Great- boss and beloved by all. So best of luck to her.
I know it's going to be great for her. Anyway, week six recap.
Cousin Sal (3:34)
Dallas.
Bill Simmons (3:34)
No, no, no.
Cousin Sal (3:35)
Let's keep naming people that, you know, it's maybe great things that happen. Yeah, yeah. So we get to skip the Cowboys.
Bill Simmons (3:42)
Wish best to Dak Prescott?
Cowboys-Packers.
I wrote down, I might try to emulate Dallas' offense during the pod. I'm going to backpedal on every topic, dance around terrified, and then throw points up for grabs to you. Because that was basically what you did today. What happened? They don't have Parsons. They lost Hargrave. How is the Packer, you had all your offensive linemen, you had all your receivers. How does, how do the Packers, when you're on 10 days rest, just run over Dallas like that?
Cousin Sal (4:10)
I don't have any effing answers. I don't know. It was just, it's a terrible three hour watch. Like if it was a movie, I would have walked out like 15 times. It's really like, you know, I don't know where to start.
I guess the defense is good. Like, let's give them credit first. I know we don't like to do that. But last 21 quarters, they've given up, I don't know, almost no points, whatever. But I hate watching our defense. We could start with that because they never pressure the quarterback. The Packers could have scored 50 They were dropping touchdown passes all over the place.
