The numbers told the story, they always do.
Kelley Bydlon (0:02)
It's one of those idiots who believe in analytics.
Gill Alexander (0:05)
This is A Numbers Game with Gill Alexander on VSiN.
Kelley Bydlon (0:08)

Will Hill (0:19)
Heyo.
Kelley Bydlon (0:19)
On a night where I got about four hours of sleep.
Will Hill (0:24)
You got that much? I'm surprised you got that much.
Kelley Bydlon (0:26)
Watching our final future go down on just an epic day at the US. Open.
Will Hill (0:31)
Crazy.
Kelley Bydlon (0:32)
It is our final show before actual real live National Football League football.
Will Hill (0:37)
There you go.
Kelley Bydlon (0:37)
Let's go.
Will Hill (0:38)
We made it, folks. We all made it together.
Kelley Bydlon (0:40)
It's the last one before we can look back at games.
Will Hill (0:43)
And thanks to soccer? Thanks to soccer for helping us make it this far?
Kelley Bydlon (0:47)
Massive assist to the world.
Will Hill (0:48)
Right?
Kelley Bydlon (0:48)
Wow. Which seems like it was forever ago.
Will Hill (0:51)
It really does.
Kelley Bydlon (0:52)
But we were all super into it when it was happening.
Will Hill (0:55)
We were. And think about that though. It feels like it was forever ago, and then this whole summer would have felt so much longer without it.
Kelley Bydlon (1:00)
Yeah.
Shout out World Cup. You might have something like this. You might have something with this soccer thing you guys talk about.
Will Hill (1:06)
That's right. It feels like it's grown on the world.
Kelley Bydlon (1:09)
Will Hill will join us. All his bets, NFL, college football, baseball, all that later this hour. Paul Sporer on Major League Baseball. I like an ornery sporer.
Will Hill (1:19)
He's been great this year. Twenty twenty six spores.
Kelley Bydlon (1:22)
But the best goes off on people. It's fantastic. Nick Whalen will join us a little later on. And in studio, I'm sure this will go well. Todd Wishniff in studio. Oh, boy. By the way, the Megapod reviews are in and it's not favorable to Todd.
In terms of the interruptions, we'll see if he can keep it to a minimum here.
Will Hill (1:42)
Glad you said that. You and I have not had that conversation. All fair. But I was like, man, this is a lot of negative time.
Kelley Bydlon (1:48)
I was ready to strangle him within five minutes. But I love him. I love him. Same same deal.
If I like brothers, Matt Brown will join us as well. A little later on, you know, it's NFL season when Matt Brown is coming on the show.
Will Hill (2:00)
The great Mr. Grandissimo himself.
Kelley Bydlon (2:03)
Got to talk to him about that. So it's the foremost.
He knows. Yeah. Like when did he finally make the decision to do that?
Will Hill (2:10)
I don't know.
Kelley Bydlon (2:11)
I don't know.
Will Hill (2:12)
I think it was sort of last minute.
Kelley Bydlon (2:14)
Well, he's couching it as a legacy club. Next thing you know, I'm signing up for Grandissimo. I'm probably I'm going to guess that's not how that actually works. He's probably been concocting this for a while.
Will Hill (2:23)
I told you he he I knew he had been talking about it for months.
Kelley Bydlon (2:27)
But good on him.
Will Hill (2:28)
I didn't I didn't get the feeling it was close close as of like a couple of weeks ago.
Kelley Bydlon (2:32)
I would like Matteo Moreno, Matt Brown to win Grandismo. That's who I'm rooting for.
Will Hill (2:37)
Me too.
Kelley Bydlon (2:37)
OK.
Tennis yesterday. Let us start there before we get to football. And this has nothing to do with sports betting, but this LSU thing is fascinated to me. I just love this story crazy. Tennis yesterday was epic for as bad as like the matches were on Sunday. Was it where they were Saturday? I can't remember what day were just boring matches yesterday. The first half of the quarterfinals start to finish was just epic. We hit our over in the NOSCOVA Sabalenka match. Sabalenka ends up winning that in a third set tiebreaker.
Then it was the Francis Tiafoe, big foe against Alex Mickelson. Mickelson, and by the way, I was thinking about playing Mickelson. Right. This would have been another epic collapse. Mickelson was up two sets. He was serving for the match in the third up five for foe breaks him. Wins the match in five and big foe gets crazy. Francis Tiafoe gets to his third US Open semifinal in five years. He is a home road split kind of tennis player.
