The numbers told the story, they always do.

Kelley Bydlon (0:02)

Swando's idiots who believe in analytics.

Paul Carr (0:05)

This is A Numbers Game with Gill Alexander on VSiN.

Our number three of A Numbers Game at VSiN, the sports betting network, vsin.com, GamePlus, iHeartRadio, YouTube TV, and of course, SiriusXM Channel, 189, Gill Alexander, Kelley Bydlon. On this Tuesday morning.

Kelley Bydlon (0:22)

Tuesday.

Gill Alexander (0:23)

Yeah, see, I was doing that thing, too, with the football tomorrow night.

Little more than 24 hours away from the kickoff of the National Football League season. Oh yeah. We'll do one-twos.

Kelley Bydlon (0:34)

I don't understand a couple of things about the start of the NFL season. First of all.

Gill Alexander (0:38)

Please, do ask.

Kelley Bydlon (0:40)

Again, the Wednesday, Thursday, like why are we playing the Australia game as early as possible? Doesn't really make sense to me.

Gill Alexander (0:46)

Maybe that conflict in Melbourne.

Kelley Bydlon (0:47)

You know what college football does that I agree with more than the NFL? Like, I don't need the Super Bowl repeat week one. Like, we are so desperate for NFL football, you could give me any game to start the season.

Paul Carr (1:01)

I would love it. So true.

Kelley Bydlon (1:03)

And fast forward to week seven, when we're going to be complaining about whatever garbage Thursday night game, like you could sneak that in on us on week one. I would be excited about any game.

Gill Alexander (1:13)

It is the only league of any sport that I will watch any game between any two teams.

Paul Carr (1:21)

Right.

Gill Alexander (1:21)

Avidly.

I can't say that about any tennis. I'll watch almost all tennis, but not everything.

Kelley Bydlon (1:27)

But like you know, mid-season, we'll be complaining about some of these matchups. Oh, if like the prime time matches. You could throw us anything in week one and we'd love it.

Gill Alexander (1:34)

Yes, 100 percent. We get tweets, be to the book, Bob Sacamano. Small correction that we haven't had any close monthly win contest this season. May had a four-way tie going into the last day. Thank you. Thank you, Bob. Correction noted.

It was a four-way tie, he said, that last day between the... What is it?

What did he say? May with Brewers and Guardians Lost and Braves, Philly, LA with... I don't know. It was a four-way tie, is what he's saying. Stringfellowhawk, on the DraftKings $10 survivor pool that I do, just to follow along with the show, I landed on the Steelers and Raiders. All right, Stringfellowhawk does the survivor pool at DraftKings. There you go, little $10 version. Three jock, h3131, guys, I was on the Steelers for Survivor until I read this. You ready for this? You want a trend here? Home teams priced in the range of plus three to minus three in week one non-conference games have gone just 317 and won against the spread since 2015

Kelley Bydlon (2:34)

Why did jock blackout the straight up?

Gill Alexander (2:37)

I don't know. I have no idea. He just wanted me to focus on the ATS. It's five and something.

Who are giving credit to the system number two?

Paul Carr (2:46)

That's Macanin. Oh, is that Macanin? Steve.

Gill Alexander (2:48)

Oh, there we go. Steve Macanin.

Steve Macanin. Great work over at vsin.com. Now a reaction to Kelley Bydlon's College Football Guessing Lines. Brad Norwood at Dream IT. Hey, Kelley, Oklahoma State lost to Tulsa.

Kelley Bydlon (3:01)

I misspoke on that one.

Gill Alexander (3:02)

Jason Lewis. Tune in just in time to hear Kelley say that Oklahoma State beat Tulsa. They did not. And that Iowa was a 52 and a half point favorite. They were not.

Long weekend, he says.

Kelley Bydlon (3:12)

Week one, we're shaking off the rust. Good catches, fellas. I guess I misspoke.

I did misspoke on the win-lose.

Gill Alexander (3:20)

Part of the charm of college football, guessing lines, everyone, is that these mistakes will happen.

Kelley Bydlon (3:25)

Well, I was going to go to the spread one. I don't know where the hell I pulled that from. I clearly just wrote that down wrong. So good call out there, Jason. And yeah, Oklahoma State.

I misspoke because the whole point of that one was how big can we make Oregon as a favorite?

Gill Alexander (3:39)

Mark Gupta has a question for you. Players started to show up at Medina for President's Cup. JT there yesterday, one news item you'll start hearing. Jeff Ogilvie, captain for the international team, golf architectural company, did the redesign of our course three years ago. Love the show.
