The Numbers told the story, they always do. One of those idiots who believe in analytics.

This is a Numbers Game with Gill Alexander on VSiN.

Gill Alexander (0:08)

Our number two of a Numbers Game at VSiN, the sports betting network, vsin.com, GamePlus, iHeartRadio, YouTube TV, SiriusXM, Channel 189, however you are taking us in, we are grateful. And when I say we, I'm talking about my man right here, Kelley Bydlon. Well, we're both grateful. Gill Alexander here, live from Circa.

Chris Fallica standing by, Steve Fezik coming up. And you and I, we got to go through every NFL game.

Kelley Bydlon (0:31)

That's right, man.

Gill Alexander (0:32)

We got a lot to do. What are we doing?

Kelley Bydlon (0:33)

A lot to do.

Gill Alexander (0:34)

Get this thing going.

Kelley Bydlon (0:36)

Well, let's restart the show and we'll talk about Jalen Hurst for seven more minutes.

Gill Alexander (0:39)

First hour was just practice.

Kelley Bydlon (0:40)

That was good.

Gill Alexander (0:41)

Jalen Hurst, they did set us back.

Kelley Bydlon (0:42)

It was a good conversation. But it did set us back. Yeah.

Gill Alexander (0:46)

KFLO on Twitter, KFLorenz. The kicking off and overtime decision is a lot like splitting eights and blackjack. Yes, on splitting versus an eight or less, splitting versus a nine or 10, not a great idea. Yes, on receiving first and overtime, if your offense is a non dysfunctional operation, receiving first, not a great idea. After 35 yards of offense in the second half, that's a good point.

Kelley Bydlon (1:06)

It's a pretty good comp, yeah.

Gill Alexander (1:07)

Last two weeks, Payton has shown he's more than happy to let the other team make the mistake. That's a great, that's a great tweet. MrCleanKicks420.

All right, get my decipher hat on here. I'll refer back to my tweet yesterday. Terrible game, terrible quarterback, Bo Picks, talk about Bo Nick's picks. Oh, he's calling him Bo Picks.

And the Jets Sammy Darnold. LOL. Worst primetime game so far. I think you're right about that.

Kelley Bydlon (1:31)

It was not great.

Gill Alexander (1:32)

It was not great. Love Fridays, boys can't wait for the Godfather of sports betting, Fezzy. Fezzy is coming up. Real Knicks, 1995 The Braves win their first and only World Series with their amazing starting pitching over Cleveland. 1997, the Marlins win their first World Series over Cleveland. 2016, Cubs win their first World Series in a million years over Cleveland. 2026, Brewers going for their first World Series. Do I have to say it? Also a solid tweet.

Yem, are you guys now considering Carolina and Survivor? I brought this up earlier on the show, Yem, for a moment and then no.

Still only a three and a half point favorite, and I still think I'm going to have to. God, am I really going to take? Is Wayne Brady really going to have to take the Indianapolis Colts?

Chris Fallica (2:16)

I know, man. I know.

SPEAKER_2 (2:17)

I'm right there with you, buddy.

Gill Alexander (2:19)

Right there with you. Oh, and a Danny Higgins has tweeted in. This is curious. You don't have a Danny Higgins has tweeted. He said, Hey, guys, did Larry Meir bring his broom today? He can join us Yankees fans. If he needs one, I'll Amazon it to him. Have a great show, fellas. Thank you, Danny. Producer number 10, Danny Higgins, joining in.

Kelley Bydlon (2:36)

Except for he's talking smack to my director.

Gill Alexander (2:38)

Trolling director Larry Meir.

Kelley Bydlon (2:40)

Yeah. And this one is a tough morning for Larry, Danny. Come on, you would know.

Gill Alexander (2:44)

This is a great segue into Fallica here. This is Fix My Chip Game. I'm torn about the new college football playoff news. It's a blatant ploy to get more SEC Big Ten in Notre Dame into the postseason and renders the regular season pointless. But opt outs. But opt outs lately have made a lot of bowl games meaningless thoughts. All right. What Andrew Fix My Chip Game is referring to here.

Pete Thamel, great tweet here, just summarizing it. Sources, the college football playoff is nearing a deal to expand to 24 teams per sources. The new format will start in 2027 So this is next year, man, and is expected to come together in the near future pending final approvals. Shout out since we're talking about Larry Mir behind the glass. Shout out to Drew Maxwell behind the glass.

Shout out also to Fenhouse behind the glass.

What they said Fenhouse is like it's going to lead to more injuries. Drew Maxwell said the opt-outs are just going to be that much more rampant perhaps. Let's get Chris Fallica's thoughts on this. He follows college football closer than anybody. The Bear from Fox Sports. You can follow me on Twitter at ChrisFallica. F-A-L-L-I-C-A. He is the emperor of the Bear Bets podcast empire and of course, everybody's favorite Big Noon Saturday host. What's happening, Chris?
