This is VSiN, the SportsBetting Network.

The numbers told the story, they always do. Swando's idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with Gill Alexander on VSiN.

Our number three of a numbers game at VSiN, the SportsBetting Network, vsin.com Game Plus, iHeartRadio, YouTube TV, SiriusXM Channel 189, it's Gill Alexander. Kelley's behind the glass because Krack is here, Bill Krackomberger, Unscripted. Let's go.

Good morning, Billy.

Bill Krackomberger (0:46)

Good morning. Just get out. We are live.

Gill Alexander (0:48)

We are live. You all will tweet that out? Yeah.

Bill Krackomberger (0:51)

Yeah. I try to help you guys out.

Gill Alexander (0:53)

I appreciate it. Very nice of you. Good seeing you last night, sir.

Bill Krackomberger (0:57)

Yes, we went to dinner and then we went to the Mob Museum, which I've said it in the past, but I forgot how good of a job they did at the Mob Museum. So we went there for a show.

Gill Alexander (1:10)

A panel.

Bill Krackomberger (1:10)

A panel. Yeah, a panel. But I got there a little bit early.

I left Gill for a minute and walked around and did some videos of just what's going on there and just some things. I love it in there.

Gill Alexander (1:23)

On the loose in the Mob Museum.

Bill Krackomberger (1:24)

I forgot how good it was. They did such a great job. I remember I was thinking to myself, how good can this be? They've actually taken over the old courthouse that was built in 1933 where the Kiefhoffer commission was there, actually.

It had some really big names in this courthouse. That's where they actually had the expo. The the what did you call it?

Gill Alexander (1:44)

Panel.

Bill Krackomberger (1:45)

The panel.

Gill Alexander (1:45)

Yeah. It was basketball, murder in the mob, Las Vegas and the unsolved hit on Vic Weiss.

Bill Krackomberger (1:51)

Yeah.

Gill Alexander (1:51)

That's what it was called.

Bill Krackomberger (1:52)

The panel had Sig Rogich, who was a legendary Las Vegas guy. He was for many years and also a Tarkinian son. What was his first name? Park Son. I forget his name, but anyway, Tark Son.

Gill Alexander (2:05)

Not Danny.

Bill Krackomberger (2:06)

No.

Gill Alexander (2:06)

Yeah.

Bill Krackomberger (2:07)

And then there was the the young guy who I thought had had better, a better presentation. I couldn't hear Sid Sig. So, you know, Gill and I have big mouths. So we're on here all the time talking, making sure.

Gill Alexander (2:21)

But it's George Tarkinian, by the way. George Sigrogich and Sean Carey was the young filmmaker. He was on there as well. And it was fascinating for those who don't know the story.

Jerry Tarkinian, legendary coach at UNLV. But this was before they won the national championship. This is the late 70s. And he was set to become the Los Angeles Lakers head coach and his agent, this guy, Vic Weiss, who was also a gambler and was involved in a bunch of stuff. But he was, he disappeared and then they found him dead in the back of a Rolls-Royce mob hit. And Tark ultimately then did not take the Lakers job. He stayed at UNLV, the rest is history, won the national championship many years later. But what we got from the panel was that was just coincidental, it felt like, that Tark was about to take the Lakers job and then didn't. That just happened to be a coincidence of timing. That really was because we probably, we believe, or at least what was what was conveyed in the panel, it's just this dude was skiving too much money on some gambling stuff that wasn't his own money.

Bill Krackomberger (3:21)

He was a degenerate gambler too. So it doesn't, you know, it doesn't really take a genius to figure it out. Like they were, oh, maybe they didn't, they were trying to get to Tark and they wanted to let him know, don't sign with the Lakers. We're going to clip your guy. That's not why the guy died.

Our hypothesis, which is a very, very, very educated guess just from listening to these guys speak and just from human nature is that he was messing with the wrong people. Spallatra was mentioned a lot of times in that seminar last time.

Gill Alexander (3:50)

Spallatra called, they believe, ordered the hit.

Bill Krackomberger (3:54)

Yeah, he was mentioned a ton of times. But I tell you right now, if you're coming to Las Vegas, if it's not family time where you have to bring your, like the guys day out, coming out with your guys and you have an alone day or you just want to come out with your buddy, that is a fantastic place to go. You got a walking tour. You could spend the whole day in there.
