Swando's idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with Gill Alexander on VeeSin.

Gill Alexander (0:38)

Good Wednesday morning to it is a numbers game at VeeSin, the sportsbettingnetworkveesin.com game plus Ihard Radio, YouTube TV, SiriusXM Channel 189, Kill Alexander, Kelley Bydlon. Hell in the house. Circus Sports, Circus Resort Casino, downtown Las Vegas. How are you doing?

Kelley Bydlon (0:54)

I'm doing great, man. How about you?

Gill Alexander (0:56)

It's a little midweek between weeks five and six in the NFL. Yeah, I just feel like the season has gone quickly, slowly or about as long as it is in actual time.

Kelley Bydlon (1:05)

Ah, it's it's quick, but it's quick every year. Like I had that moment. I almost texted you the other day where it was like, man, it is like the middle of October already. When did that happen?

Gill Alexander (1:15)

Will is famous for that on the making of. I can't believe it's week six.

Kelley Bydlon (1:18)

It is crazy. It happens every year. October, middle of October, like this time of year sneaks up on you so quick.

Gill Alexander (1:24)

I think because the way to for me, it's like, oh, Thanksgiving is next month.

Yes, that's what makes it weird for me. It's like, oh, thanksgiving always feels deep into the season. So that's where we are. I will say this. We do the Megapod after the after this show today. This show today, by the way, Will Hill will join us here this hour to give us all his bets. NFL, college football, Major League Baseball. Steve Dudley from BTB Analytics is going to join us for a little moment talking about what they do over there. BTB Analytics, Aaron Schatz later in the show. Aaron Schatz is going to talk DVOA with us through the first quarter plus of the NFL season, put in historical perspective, do it units, full teams. And then, of course, we're going to get to awards with him because he's an award voters, award voter, I should say, one of the 50 Associated Press voters. So we will get a heat check from him on that. Tati Wishnev, whenever the WNBA feels like playing this final, sure, get some thoughts from him.

Kelley Bydlon (2:21)

Saturday, right?

Gill Alexander (2:23)

Why the break? Why?

Kelley Bydlon (2:24)

Well, someone needs to explain to me the Atlanta Stadium situation. Yeah, not really getting a problem.

Gill Alexander (2:31)

Valkyrie's Dream. See how Tati feels about that. Paul Spoor on Major League Baseball, Jeff Erickson a little later on the show. But the Megapod is on after this. We're going to do it 2 p.m. Eastern, 11 a.m. Pacific on Twitter. And of course, we'll put it in podcast form, as we always do. Wes Reynolds is the guest on this week's Megapod with Todd Willen and me. And, you know, one of the segments we do, as we talked about famously, is Dumbo of the Week. By the way, scan the QR code on your screen if you want to subscribe to the Beat in the Book podcast. But we do this Dumbo of the Week, which is really highlighting NFL coaches that make terrible decisions. There has never been, so I went through it all yesterday, because I know we did in Guessing Lines, but actually seizing on just the coaching gaps from Thursday through Monday. Yeah, this is by far shattering the record for the most candidates ever in Dumbo of the Week. Eight coaches. Remember, they weren't all 32 teams playing. There were 30, right? So more than a quarter of the coaches are Dumbo of the Week candidates. What does this say about this league?

Not only are there more candidates than ever before, but there's a more clear winner than ever before. We don't have to guess who that is.

Dan Quinn and Washington. Yeah, I was glad that Micah Parsons went after Jaden Daniels yesterday on his podcast.

Kelley Bydlon (3:43)

I thought that was great, too.

That was the only thing I was going to throw at you. Dan Quinn, where does Jaden Daniels share the blame with Dan Quinn?
