In the realm of science fiction, few films have sparked as much debate and intrigue as Steven Spielberg's AI released in 2001 This ambitious film explores the complex relationship between humans and machines, set against a backdrop of a future where the polar ice caps have melted, submerging coastal cities and forcing humanity to retreat inland. The story centers on David, played by Haley Joel Osment, a highly advanced robot child designed to love unconditionally.
Adopted by Monica, played by Frances O'Connor, and Henry, played by Sam Robards, as a substitute for their cryogenically frozen son, David's life takes a dramatic turn when their real son returns home.
Spielberg, known for his ability to weave fairy tales into cinematic experiences, takes on a darker, more complex narrative with AI.
