Yes!

Joe Rogan (0:06)

Yeah! Natasha, put your phone away, cause we are live.

You're trying?

Natasha Leggero (0:12)

But the struggle is real.

Moshe Kasher (0:14)

It's hard.

Joe Rogan (0:15)

I'm sure it's not coming up. There it goes.

Moshe Kasher (0:16)

This interface.

Joe Rogan (0:18)

It's very hard. It's very hard.

Are you guys worried that by calling your tour Endless Honeymoon, you might put the jinx on it, sort of like how Rob and Blac Chyna are doing a reality show?

Natasha Leggero (0:31)

A jinx on what, our marriage or the tour?

Moshe Kasher (0:35)

We can pivot into the Endless Divorce Tour very quickly.

Joe Rogan (0:38)

Right, because you guys will be friends, even if you hit the rocks.

Moshe Kasher (0:41)

Strictly homies tour.

Natasha Leggero (0:44)

Well, the way we thought of it is when we were in Newport, Rhode Island, we learned about this rich couple who went on a 10-year honeymoon. And then they came back with four kids, and I just thought that sounded so romantic, to be so rich that you just went away for a decade.

Joe Rogan (0:56)

Yeah, you have kids on the fly.

Moshe Kasher (0:58)

You go away newlywed, you come back grandparents.

Joe Rogan (1:02)

That's super bold, too. They don't even know their doctor. They're in fucking Sweden and shit.

Natasha Leggero (1:06)

I mean, they're rich people.

Moshe Kasher (1:08)

Those people were so rich, man. Do you know about the seat of wealth that was Newport, Rhode Island?

Joe Rogan (1:13)

Oh yeah, I used to do a lot of gigs in Rhode Island. There's these insane mansions there.

Moshe Kasher (1:17)

This is the backdrop of the show.

Natasha Leggero (1:19)

Well, in the Gilded Age, in 1900, basically 90% of the wealth in America was in Rhode Island, and then everyone else was living in squalor.

Moshe Kasher (1:28)

Because they hadn't established personal income tax yet. It was like the years right before personal income tax had been established in this country.

Natasha Leggero (1:36)

So people had like 35 indoor servants, 55 outdoor servants. People would come from Australia in boats, and you would just make them your... It was like slavery, but for white people.

Moshe Kasher (1:48)

This is the show at the Endless Hunting Mature. We do an extended lecture on personal income tax and the history. And slavery.

Natasha Leggero (1:55)

No, my show Another Period is based on that. That's how we know about it.

Moshe Kasher (1:58)

But yeah, they were like these people... It was the Carnegie's and the Rockefellers and these like seat of power, like Illuminati.

Natasha Leggero (2:05)

Carnegie had a billion dollars a hundred years ago. These people were... But now we've come full circle and people have figured out how to legally steal money and not pay income tax.

Joe Rogan (2:15)

But not that many. I mean the difference is pretty shocking.

Natasha Leggero (2:18)

But don't like the Romney's of the world, don't they know how to not pay? Mitt Romney's?

Well, like politicians. Don't they kind of know how to...

Moshe Kasher (2:27)

You're talking about... She's talking about big ol corporate oligarchy billionaire people that have figured out...

Joe Rogan (2:32)

Any super rich people are going to try really hard to hold on to their money and pay as little taxes as possible and form LLCs and corporations and all kinds of jazz, but...

Moshe Kasher (2:40)

It is funny that comedians are like mostly super liberal.

And they're all like, man, we got Bernie, and we got to pay these high tax rates. Anyway, I'm incorporated, and my LLC's name is... It's like you're doing a corporate fiction, too.

Natasha Leggero (2:54)

It's a tax shelter for entertainers.

Joe Rogan (2:57)

But here's the problem. Where's the money going?

I'd be willing to give away more money and tax dollars if I knew that it was a rock solid establishment. They really knew what to do.

Moshe Kasher (3:06)

If you could fill little bubbles, like most of my money to go to education, nothing to this, nothing to that.

Natasha Leggero (3:14)

That'd be amazing.

Joe Rogan (3:15)

It would be, but the country would be fucked.

Moshe Kasher (3:17)

The roads would fall apart quickly.

Joe Rogan (3:19)

Everything would fall apart. Cops would be out of business.

Moshe Kasher (3:23)

No, because half of the country, at least, would be like, all my money to the cops, all my money to the defense.

Joe Rogan (3:28)

I would love to see. I wouldn't love to do it because I just don't think that that amount of power should be in people's hands without a lot of research first.
