Jason, we're at the age where we've attended a lot of weddings, not only our own, but friends, family, et cetera, et cetera. And the through line, unless they hire you, is shitty music.

**Jason Stewart** (0:10)
Yeah, the cross section of people who can DJ a wedding well and people who are cool, very small, so much that you would have to throw a dart at a dartboard and hit a bullseye just to find them. And luckily we did, Chris.

**Chris Black** (0:23)
Thank God, and dart works with actual musicians and artists, many of whom have their own careers and tour in bands like Leon Bridges, Taylor Swift, The Dare, Serenity Carpenter. I could go on and on. Dart DJs use vinyl and are cool in a way that your friends would be, not in a dated Vegas performer type of way. And they have an in-house stylist so they don't show up looking like shit.
Shout out to Pete for that one.

**Jason Stewart** (0:47)
Dart can do intimate stuff to huge celebrity events as well. Hiring Dart feels like hiring your very talented friend who happens to be a DJ. Dart is for people who actually like music with 14 years in the biz. Tons of experience, I've worked with them. Highly recommended so if you are getting married or you have any type of cool event going on and you need a good DJ, they got you. Hubs in LA, SF, Austin, New York, Chicago, all over the place.

**Chris Black** (1:14)
Dart, like throwing a Dart, dash collective.com. That's D-A-R-T dash collective.com. Email Michael at Dart dash collective.com and tell him that Chris and Jason from How Long Gone sent you.
How Long Gone. We got clean stations over here. Coming to you live, a rare Thursday, one on one. But I think the world needs that, Jason. I think we gotta feed the streets a little bit.

**Jason Stewart** (1:58)
Yeah, sometimes when we have a guest scheduled and things fall through, everyone's busy, especially summer time.
These things happen. And I used to panic a little bit, but now I like the idea of a blank slate. I have no notes. I have nothing prepared to talk about. I have no witty, problematic jokes based on someone's recent standup special or book. It's just, I'm nut-hanging continuous, Chris. I'd be like, Jon Hamm right now.

**Chris Black** (2:27)
It's nut-hang summer. You want a kid? It's nut-hang summer.

**Jason Stewart** (2:30)
Gravity's a bitch.

**Chris Black** (2:31)
I think that you're right. I think this is fine. I think that I know Quavo's busy, so I think we're in a good spot.

**Jason Stewart** (2:36)
Look, do I like the first Migos record? Yes.
Is Quavo gonna be a generational podcast guest for an hour of stimulating discourse? We don't know for sure, but gun to your head, I'm gonna go, nah.

**Chris Black** (2:50)
I was talking to a fellow podcaster who's spoken to more rappers than we have, and he made a good point that it's like-

**Jason Stewart** (2:58)
What did Oscar really say?

**Chris Black** (2:59)
You need, no, yeah, right. You need rappers, you need to be in the same room with a rapper. Zoom makes it very difficult, you know what I mean?
I think that their attention, I just think that rappers don't, I mean, think about it, do rappers use Zoom? It's insane to ask them to. When you, honestly, it's crazy.

**Jason Stewart** (3:18)
Imagine getting on a Google Meet with Riff Raff.

**Chris Black** (3:21)
Yeah, it just feels-

**Jason Stewart** (3:22)
It would be so annoyed and so pissed off, it would be like, you know, when the monkey hits the typewriter kind of thing, smash it against the wall.

**Chris Black** (3:31)
I mean, it's like, look, I get Jay-Z's, you know, he's on investor calls and board meetings and shit, but like the guys we want to talk to, you know they're gonna be on their phone, you know they're not gonna have headphones, you know, but if you sit them down in the room with you and do it all for them, then maybe you could get something, you know?

**Jason Stewart** (3:48)
Oh, rappers, what are we gonna do with them? Yeah, that really reminds me of when he had 5-0-4 and on, and it was just, he just FaceTimed us with a bottle of Bub and, you know, wife beat her on and some Pyrex shorts in his New Jersey mansion, just having the time of his life.

**Chris Black** (4:03)
I think it was more of a tasteful two-bedroom and a high rise that he probably doesn't have anymore, just because of, I mean, cost, Jason, you know, but New York, even New Jersey real estate's expensive.
