Jason, we're at the age where we've attended a lot of weddings, not only our own, but friends, family, et cetera, et cetera. And the through line, unless they hire you, is shitty music.
**Jason Stewart** (0:10)
Yeah, the cross-section of people who can DJ a wedding well and people who are cool, very small, so much that you would have to throw a dart at a dartboard and hit a bullseye just to find them. And luckily we did, Chris.
**Chris Black** (0:23)
Thank God, and dart works with actual musicians and artists, many of whom have their own careers and tour in bands like Leon Bridges, Taylor Swift, The Dare, Serenity Carpenter. I could go on and on. Dart DJs use vinyl and are cool in a way that your friends would be, not in a dated Vegas performer type of way. And they have an in-house stylist so they don't show up looking like shit.
Shout out to Pete for that one.
**Jason Stewart** (0:47)
Dart can do intimate stuff to huge celebrity events as well. Hiring Dart feels like hiring your very talented friend who happens to be a DJ. Dart is for people who actually like music and have 14 years in the biz. Tons of experience, I've worked with them. Highly recommended so if you are getting married or you have any type of cool event going on and you need a good DJ, they got you. Hubs in LA, SF, Austin, New York, Chicago, all over the place.
**Chris Black** (1:14)
Dart, like throwing a Dart, dash collective.com. That's D-A-R-T dash collective.com.
Email Michael at Dart dash collective.com and tell him that Chris and Jason from How Long Gone sent you.
We got you. What's good baby? How Long Gone? It's a beautiful Tuesday here in New York City. They're shooting hoops outside, Jason. Leaves are green. How are you feeling?
**Jason Stewart** (1:57)
I'm feeling okay. Feeling okay. I woke up at six, made some coffee, watched Whitmer's hour special, walked the dogs, made some fresh squeezed orange juice, couple of Americanos. Bob's your uncle. Here we are, buddy.
**Chris Black** (2:13)
That sounds like a pretty good morning so far.
**Jason Stewart** (2:16)
Yeah.
**Chris Black** (2:17)
Spend a morning. Get ready with me to spend a morning with the content creator in Glendale, California.
**Jason Stewart** (2:22)
I didn't mention your age. This is all before 9 a.m., obviously.
**Chris Black** (2:27)
Well, if you're going to do it, you got to do it, rising grind style. It would be silly.
**Jason Stewart** (2:31)
No need to mention the age because then the waking up early part gets less and less impressive the older you get.
**Chris Black** (2:38)
Sure. Get ready with me as a 65-year-old who wakes up at 3:30 a.m. It doesn't really-
**Jason Stewart** (2:44)
If you're up at 5.3 and you're 16, let's keep an eye on you, whether your future is going to be, unless you're going to burn out, 50-50 chance, you're going to- You could burn out. Murder, suicide, either that or, hey, I'm running Groupon.
**Chris Black** (2:59)
You know what I mean?
You know what? I started getting up at 3:30 a.m. when I was 16 I don't want to boast, but I came up with Groupon. I don't know if you guys remember that.
**Jason Stewart** (3:09)
Yeah, which way, Western man? It is a Groupon situation, or I'm thinking about joining the Marines.
**Chris Black** (3:17)
I could.
**Jason Stewart** (3:20)
Uncle Sam gave me a Groupon, tell you what. Okay, let's talk about our friend Brad.
Brad reputation.
**Chris Black** (3:28)
What?
**Jason Stewart** (3:28)
Pitt's having a bad week.
**Chris Black** (3:30)
Oh, Pitt. Oh, he's having a, Brad Pitt's having a.
**Jason Stewart** (3:33)
You don't know about that great Kanye West lyric?
**Chris Black** (3:35)
I do know that, actually, now that you say that, but I don't. Okay, okay.
**Jason Stewart** (3:38)
I mean, it was strange out of context.
**Chris Black** (3:41)
I mean, look, man, Brad Pitt's having a fine week. He chose to self-release his sobriety because here's what happened. Somebody definitely saw him drinking, I believe at Taylor Swift's wedding, and he's like, you know what? I got to get ahead of this. But imagine being the writer.
**Jason Stewart** (3:59)
I thought there were no cameras, you guys.
**Chris Black** (4:00)
At Esquire, who gets to come back and said, all right, guys, we got it. He said he's not sober anymore and he contemplated suicide, so just run it as is and we're going to get what we need out of this.
**Jason Stewart** (4:10)
Did you say Esquire or GQ?
**Chris Black** (4:12)
