Boom, that's it, we're live.

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (0:14)

We're on now?

Joe Rogan (0:15)

Fuck yeah.

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (0:15)

Joe Rogan, my man, thanks so much for having me back.

Joe Rogan (0:18)

Thanks for coming back.

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (0:19)

There's a lot of, everywhere I, this is the fucking Tonight Show, man, before I go, man, I heard you on Joe Rogan. Heard you on Joe Rogan, it's been the last year of my life, so I can stop fucking answering them when I'm gonna be back, I'm back right now.

Joe Rogan (0:34)

You are back right now.

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (0:36)

Yeah, feels weird, it feels like I was here like two days ago.

Joe Rogan (0:39)

That's a problem. Maybe you were drinking too much on the road.

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (0:44)

I definitely was drinking too much.

I went to the last tour, I ended up in... I don't want to smake, it's not too bad. I ended up in the emergency room in the last tour with the IVs, with the fucking fluids and shit. I went a little too... I don't know, they said it was kind of just exhaustion and whatever, and the normal, I think the people at the emergency room wouldn't believe me that I wasn't on hardcore drugs, because they come in and I'm fucking out of it.

Where you been? I've been out on tour, and they're like, oh shit, we know what's up. And they of course did all my blood work, and there was no shit in there.

Joe Rogan (1:25)

Nothing at all?

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (1:27)

No, I think it was honestly kind of just... I mean, they did find some kind of bug that I had been on that probably was more of it than I thought, but I really do think it was just kind of nonstop every night rocking out and pushing it a little too hard.

Joe Rogan (1:50)

So you really did wind up in the emergency room?

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (1:51)

Yeah, yeah. I mean, the official diagnosis was just exhaustion.

Joe Rogan (1:55)

What were you worried about? Like, what did you think? You didn't think you could just go to sleep?

Like, how does one go to the emergency room?

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (2:01)

What happened was, I was off the tour and I had a meeting with some managers and shit, and in the meeting, I fucking barfed.

Like, in a nice building. We were in a nice building talking about shit. We were actually talking about the shit that Rick is over here doing. It was like, guys in suits, and I fucking threw up on myself.

Joe Rogan (2:18)

Whoa.

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (2:18)

And they go, are you okay? And I go, I think I am. And then they hand me a banana to get some food in me, and I couldn't peel the banana.

So then I drove myself to the emergency room.

Joe Rogan (2:28)

You couldn't peel the banana.

Wheeler Walker, Jr. (2:29)

I didn't have the strength to open a banana. Really?

But I do now. And then I drove myself to the emergency room, and they hooked me up to IVs, put me on fluids and everything. Just to give you an example, so when they finally said I was good to go, I went back out, and I couldn't fucking find my car.

And I checked my parking ticket, I was like, where's this lot? And I called the guy in the lot. He's like, yeah, your car's in here. It's, the windows are down, and it's running. I, apparently, I just drove myself to the emergency room and fucking closed the doors and walked in the emergency room and said, help me.

So yeah, and I actually, you know who was, we talked about last time, a guy who was a big help to me then, I was just like, I reached out to Sterch, I was just like, you know, do you ever get like, just, because at the time, I just, I didn't know I had a bug, I thought it was just, you know, pure exhaustion, which, again, doesn't that sound like the old rock, you know, the rock star, like heroin excuse, like, he's exhausted, he has to cancel a tour. And I reached out to Sterch, and he's just like, yeah, man, you gotta, you know, take care of yourself out there, just, you know, it's mental, physical, everything, fatiguing, you know, I think I need to figure out a way, it's funny, I don't forget who you were talking to a few weeks ago, talking about, you're talking serious shit about like, suicide and stuff, and about how exercise is such an important part of that. And I've been on a pretty, like, vigorous, I've been, you can't tell, but I've been running a ton, what you've been running to. And I was talking to a doctor recently, and he was like, he was telling me about a study they did with like 200, he told me it was like a couple, made the 200 depressed people, and the study was half of them, they gave Prozac, the other half, they put on a strict, like, running regimen. He said there was no difference between the two. It's like they both, they were both helped a ton, and the running, I don't want to give out medical information, but that's, you know.
