Young Jamie... Wow, Philip DeFranco, all right, buddy.

Philip DeFranco (0:13)

I'm good, man.

Joe Rogan (0:14)

Let's crack in.

Philip DeFranco (0:14)

I'm good. All the conversation we had right before, it's gonna be the good stuff, and then all of this is gonna be two hours of bad news.

Joe Rogan (0:19)

Yeah, we shit on some movies and got mad about Republicans and talking, and then we got mad about Democrats.

Philip DeFranco (0:27)

You're putting a we in an I statement.

Joe Rogan (0:28)

Yep, yep, I'm mumbling, lopping you in.

Philip DeFranco (0:31)

I was just being your therapist, man.

Joe Rogan (0:33)

Oh, thanks, dude, sweet. So sweet of you.

Philip DeFranco (0:36)

Isn't that what a podcast is?

Joe Rogan (0:37)

Yes.

Philip DeFranco (0:37)

You're just like, let me hear what you're saying, but then let me talk about the world.

Joe Rogan (0:41)

In a way, yeah.

Is that a phone? That's a tiny little one.

Philip DeFranco (0:44)

It's a tiny one, man.

Joe Rogan (0:45)

Oh, you got the little tiny iPhone?

Philip DeFranco (0:47)

Yeah, this is from my daily example of why I need to be patient.

I had an iPhone 6 Plus, the biggest storage. I was really happy with it, and I was like, man, I need to get that iPhone 7 And the only one they had was the small one with the smallest storage, and it's a piece of garbage.

Joe Rogan (1:02)

You don't like it?

Philip DeFranco (1:03)

No, well, just because I'm like, you know, I don't need that much storage. I'll use the cloud, but I don't because I don't trust the cloud.

Joe Rogan (1:10)

Ooh, scared of all those dick pics getting out.

Philip DeFranco (1:11)

All the dick pics.

Jamie (1:13)

Yeah, gigs of them.

Philip DeFranco (1:16)

I think that's the good thing about not being extraordinary in any way. I'm not doing that.

Joe Rogan (1:20)

You don't have to worry about your dirt.

Philip DeFranco (1:21)

Yeah, I'm just like, no one needs to see it.

Joe Rogan (1:24)

So you just ran out of, what is it, like a 32 gigabyte or something like that?

Philip DeFranco (1:26)

Yeah, so it's like I have to, I'm like, which memory will I delete before I can make new ones?

Joe Rogan (1:31)

That's annoying.

Philip DeFranco (1:31)

It makes me be a little bit selective, but I don't know, in this day and age it's stupid.

Joe Rogan (1:35)

Does it bother you that it's small?

Philip DeFranco (1:37)

Um, not as much, but you get used to it, right? Yeah, you get used to that big one.

Joe Rogan (1:41)

I have the 7 plus.

Philip DeFranco (1:43)

Yeah, man.

Joe Rogan (1:43)

You used to that, when you're looking at websites in particular, where you don't have to expand the screen to get the entire thing, you don't have to go back and forth to get the entire article.

Philip DeFranco (1:51)

And there's little tricks that people don't know, where it's like you just double tap, not push in, but double tap, and like all that shit that's on the top of the screen, it comes down for you. They just use it for people with tiny hands.

Joe Rogan (2:02)

Oh yeah, that's right. Yeah, if you double tap the home button, right?

Philip DeFranco (2:06)

There's stuff they made for people that just don't fit the standard, and you just use them. And then fucking BuzzFeed calls it life hacks. And they're like, 10 things you didn't know.

Let's get 7 million views off of some basic shit.

Joe Rogan (2:21)

There was that one phone that they had, I guess it was the iPhone 4 that had the sharper edges on the side, and it was very narrow. That's the perfect size phone for texting.

Philip DeFranco (2:31)

You think so?

Joe Rogan (2:32)

Yeah, it just fits in your hand perfect. Like it locks in place.

I can text with one hand with this thing, but not that easy. It's a little slippery.

Philip DeFranco (2:41)

You just gotta switch to get that swipey keyboard.

Joe Rogan (2:44)

Oh, no, no, no, no.

Philip DeFranco (2:46)

Why?

Joe Rogan (2:46)

I've seen people do that. Brian Callan did that for a while.

Philip DeFranco (2:48)

It makes you angry?

Joe Rogan (2:49)

No, it doesn't make me angry.

My friend Brian Callan was trying to show me how good it was. Like, look, look, look, all right. I just go from here to here. And he fucked it up a few times. I'm like, that thing can go fuck off.
