Welcome to No Punt Intended, presented by Club Fantasy. We are now two weeks down, and what a wild ride it has been. Week one was very, very good for Fantasy. Week two, not so much. Lots of injuries, not a lot of high scoring. Looking at you, Chicago Bears, it was a weird week. And now, we hit a pivotal week three, where is it going to go back up, or does it somehow get worse? That is what Josh and I are here to help you solve. Let's get into it.
Welcome to No Punt Intended, presented by Club Fantasy. Ryan Weiss back in the host seat, as Joe Zello is still pretending he has a job. Josh Hudson back with me. You guys are used to seeing our faces at this point. I think Joe said we're a week away, two weeks away. Yep, he'll be back next week. There you go, a week away. So we'll see Joe in a week. Until then, you're stuck with me and Josh. Josh, it's been 36 hours since we've seen each other. How are you doing, my friend?
Josh Hudson (1:18)
Well, the good thing, got the cast off the leg.
Ryan Weiss (1:22)
Oh!
Josh Hudson (1:22)
So we're making some progress here. We're making progress.
Ryan Weiss (1:25)
Yes, absolutely. So are you still, if you don't mind my asking this, are you still in the like soft cast for the sprained ankle or?
Josh Hudson (1:33)
No, no, no. So I kind of shed the walking boot, so to speak, on the on the left one. I did find out today that I tore a couple ligaments in the left one, which I guess is kind of what a sprain is anyway.
So I mean, my mobility around the house is literally just like going from my bedroom to the chair in the living room to the bathroom, take a shower, you know, whatever.
Ryan Weiss (1:57)
But if it makes you feel any better, I'm having a gout flare up, so I'm having like sympathy pains for you right now.
Josh Hudson (2:02)
So you get my pain. There you go.
Ryan Weiss (2:04)
Mobility issues Ryan can relate to, let me tell you.
Josh Hudson (2:08)
But yeah, it was nice to actually just get out of the house today, even if it was just going to the hospital. Zach, yes, I should actually be ready before week 14, I think.
Ryan Weiss (2:24)
And Kenan says you're still healthier than Dark.
Vince, patience, we will get there in just a moment. I wanted to go all the way back up to Kenan's first comment before the show even started. We appreciate each and every one of you guys. We always mention that. We know these shows tend to fill up with your questions and we love it. You will see me get flustered, but that's just because you guys ask so many great questions. And I'm like, I don't want to have to power round it, but we have to sometimes otherwise we're going to be here all night. So please get the questions coming in. I always like to own up to, I am not the best on Discord. If you at me, at Ryan Weiss, you will get an answer. But if you ask a general question, I'm probably going to miss it. But I do want to throw out there something I've been doing this season. I'm going to do it again this week. I'm taking next week off because me and my wife are going to New York City.
For the hour before games, I am in our Start Sit section, just answering Start Sit questions for you guys. So I'm giving you guys a full hour where if you ask a question, it's going to get an answer for me. So if you guys have not jumped in the Discord already, do that. It's a really great time. And Josh and Joel and Austin, everybody does a really great job in the Discord. Far better job than I do, let me tell you.
Josh Hudson (3:30)
Well, I have a lot of free time on my hands today. So that's a lot of the reason why I've been probably more active in our Discord, but I always try to make time for it. Shout out to Hoov, Joel, always in there, Chris Molina, Austin as well, dropping his DFS cash games and things of that nature. And quite honestly, it's just a lot of fun.
Ryan Weiss (3:49)
I dropped my cash this week and I cashed.
Josh Hudson (3:50)
There you go, love it, love it. Always fun.
Ryan Weiss (3:54)
Yeah, just quick housekeeping, hit that like button, hit that subscribe button. We do have Super Chat. If you ever want to cut the line, we're going to answer every question. If you don't want to wait around and hear us ramble about other stuff, throw us a couple of bucks, we'll let you jump the line. Josh already dropped the Discord, let's get into NFL news and notes.
