Week one is finally here, everybody. Welcome back. It is Start Sit, Different Day, Club Fantasy, Start Sit Show for all of your fantasy football questions.

I don't know how this year's gonna go, especially with the fact that I recently just broke an ankle, and this is why you see my room being a mess and frame the way that it is. But you know what? I'm here for all of you because this is what we do. We help you guys win fantasy football championships. I'm Josh Hudson. With me this week is Mr. Joel Worth. We're gonna be answering every single one of your Start Sit questions to get you off to a great start in week one. Let's get into it.

Welcome everybody to Club Fantasy Start Sit, Different Day. I'm Josh Hudson, hosting for today and probably most of this season. With me this week, Mr. Joel Worth. Joel, thanks for joining, because it's been a hell of a week, a hell of a start to the season for me, especially. But yeah, thanks for kicking this off. And a friendly reminder to everybody, it is called Start Sit Different Day, because we answer all of your start sit questions on a Saturday. The key phrase here, start sit, drop all of your start sit questions into the chat. We are here to answer your questions. It literally runs on your questions. So if we don't have any questions, this is going to be a really short show. We've got a couple of our favorite smash starts for this week.

Joel, welcome. How are you doing, buddy?

Joel Worth (1:57)

Obviously better than you, man, but I feel as though you're here fighting through the Q tag. Just absolute baller stuff on your end. But yeah, it's good to be here, good to be back, man.

It's funny, I was thinking the other day about during the season, at the end of the year, we always go, man, the season flew by so fast. But at the end of the off season, nobody says, oh man, that off season went by so fast. It took its time, but we're here. Let's go.

Josh Hudson (2:18)

Yeah. And I'll tell you what, it was a hell of a start to this season because just look at Wednesday night, the big free agent acquisition, AJ Brown, hurts his ankle, placed on IR, now is out for a minimum of four weeks.

Thursday night, Deshaun Stribling, the rookie at Ole Miss that we've been talking up the whole off season because lo and behold, everybody else on that 49ers team is 30 year older and they're ancient and it's only a matter of time before that sub station outside of the Bay Area goes, injury mode on and then just nukes everybody on that team. Well, they started with the rookie, he's out now with a, I don't know what kind of ankle injury, how severe it's gonna be, but we got off to a hell of a start. And then the supposed Super Bowl favorites, Los Angeles Rams got absolutely waxed on Thursday night down under. Like they just did not come through at all, it was wild. But friendly reminder, before we get into all the good stuff, hit the like button on this video, subscribe to our YouTube channel. We've seen a huge boom in growth. We've crossed 3000 subscribers already and that's absolutely fantastic. We have the super chat function available for those that maybe wanna get their questions jumped to the front of the line and we'll answer those first, obviously, because hey, we're whores for money. It is what it is. But we also have our Discord. You can find the link to that in the description of this video. And I'm gonna drop it into the chat right here, but we will answer any and all your questions. We talk best ball, we talk DFS. You'll notice on our YouTube channel specifically, we have our DFS channel where we drop our showdown preview videos. Austin and Joel filmed the Wednesday night one. Austin, Kelly, Ryan, they did the Sunday Slate preview that dropped on Friday. All those links are in the Discord itself, mostly because if you're watching on Twitch or Facebook, those don't go live, those are uploaded. So definitely want to get into the Discord so that you can see those. All right, so I want to get into a little bit of news and notes. And Joel, I'm going to ask a huge favor from you. If you could go through and you see questions, just hit the star so that way I can funnel through them a little bit faster. But let's get into a few news and notes as I try to add timestamps and all this stuff as well. This is going to be a hell of a show, everybody. There's going to be a big learning curve for me that should be on IR at the moment. But as previously mentioned, John Sribling, AJ Brown both suffered ankle injuries in the debut games when or Thursday and Wednesday respectively. Both are going to be out for a little bit of time. Heading into Sunday's games, which obviously that's going to be a lot of what we're previewing today. Falcons will call him the starting quarterback because I don't know if it was, he actually won the job or if it was just granted the job because Michael Pennex isn't healthy, but to have suffered an oblique injury in practice. And now the Falcons will be starting their third string quarterback, Cooper Rush, who in his last two starts has run a grand total of four interceptions. And they have not beat Pittsburgh in what feels like 30 years. So this is going to be a really fun game. Brock Bowers previously announced is going to be out. He had a recent scope or something or what have you, and is likely going to this trim meniscus trim. There you go. Likely going to miss one to two games along the Raiders front. Ashton Genti, who's been dealing with an ankle injury, is off the injury report. That is a good thing, folks. He will play Sunday. How much he sees in terms of full volume versus Mike Washington Jr. getting a little bit of run obviously remains to be seen.
